(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Lihua, from Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province, went with her daughter to the brainwashing center at the Qinglongshan Farm on September 13, 2010, to visit her husband Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Xizeng. During the visit, Ms. Zhang Lihua was also arrested and detained at the brainwashing center by the CCP personnel.
Ms. Zhang Lihua and Mr. Zhang Xizeng have been arrested by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities three times during the past eight months. They were arrested by police on January 10, 2010, after 5:00 p.m. Meanwhile, many other Falun Gong practitioners were harassed in their homes. On April 19 at around 7:00 p.m., Zhang Xizeng and Zhang Lihua were arrested again. Then on August 22, Zhang Xizeng was arrested at his workplace and taken to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center. He was beaten by police at the brainwashing center.
The "Qinglongshan Legal System Training Base" is actually a brainwashing center and a prison used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, both physically and mentally. In early 2010, the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center colluded with the notorious Wuchang City Legal System Training School to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners Li Jingfen, Pan Shurong, and Yu Songjiang were arrested and taken to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center on April 23-24, 2010, by police officers from the Qianjin Farm Public Security Bureau. They were detained there for over 100 days. The police used violence and brainwashing in attempts to force them to give up their beliefs. They were physically and mentally injured. Yu Songjiang was handcuffed, shackled, beaten, and tortured by electric shock. The illegal detention also caused financial difficulties for the practitioners' families.
Practitioners Zhao Fengrong, Zhang Xizeng and Zheng Jie were arrested by local police on August 22, 2010, and have been detained at the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center. Ms. Song, another Falun Gong practitioner from Mudanjiang, was also detained at the brainwashing center at the same time.
Sheng Shusen, 57, head of the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center, was the former CCP party deputy secretary of the Qinglongshan Farm. After he retired, he was rehired as director of the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center. Sheng Shusen went to the Wuchang City Law System Training School in Heilongjiang Province to study persecution methods, which resulted in more brutal treatment of Falun Gong practitioners. He often pinched female Falun Gong practitioners' faces and thighs, and frequently threatened them with obscene language, "If you don't give up your belief in Falun Gong, I will strip your clothes off and find a few hoodlums to rape you." When the practitioners used hunger strikes to protest the persecution, he ordered the police to force-feed them and inject them with drugs, while making the practitioners pay the costs. He also sent the practitioners to forced labor camps and sentenced them to prison. These kinds of torture and persecution severely violated the laws of humanity and gravely harmed the practitioners in both body an mind.
