(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least nine practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Zheng Yanfang from the Daowai District, Harbin City was sentenced to one year of forced labor on December 16, 2010. She was sent to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp.
2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Qian Houmin Taken to Wuchang Brainwashing Center
Mr. Qian Houmin, an employee laid off by Daqing City Underground Mine Workers Hospital, was taken to Wuchang Brainwashing Center by his previous employer's 610 Office on the morning of December 23, 2010.
3. [Yanji, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Huzhe Sentenced to Forced Labor
Mr. Li Huzhe from Yanji was sentenced to two years of forced labor and is now being held in Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Changchun.
4. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xinying and Ms. Zhu Arrested
Armed police arrested Ms. Wang Xinying and Ms. Zhu, a teacher from Changchun, on the morning of December 24, 2010 while they were handing out materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong near Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. They were transferred to the Changchun City Public Security Bureau Nanguan District Branch, and their 3 cell phones and several hundred yuan on them were taken.
5. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Ying and Ms. Dazhu Arrested
Ms. Wang Ying, 55, and Ms. Dazhu, 60, from the Luyuan District, Changchun, went to Heizuizi Women's Prison on December 22, 2010 to send forth righteous thoughts and then put up some informational stickers on the wall of the prison. They were reported by the guard in the observation tower and arrested.

Ms. Mo Weiqiu and Mr. Yue Jingnai from Lianzhuang Township, Ninghe County, were taken to the County Detention Center on December 22, 2010

Agents from the Tianjin Public Security Bureau 610 Office and officers from the Second Bridge Police Station in the Hedong District barged into Ms. Liu Yufen's home in the Dongli District, Tianjin. They ransacked Ms. Liu's home and took her to the Second Bridge Police Station. Ms. Liu has now been sent to Hedong Detention Center.
10. [Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Suran Arrested
Ms. Liu Suran, an employee from Hebei No. 3 Institute, was arrested at work by officers from Weimingjie Police Station on the afternoon of December 22, 2010. Her home was subsequently ransacked, and a computer and 10,000 yuan cash were taken.
11. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Weiping's Home Ransacked
Ms. Jiang Weiping, in her 60's, lives at Apt.401, 6th Building, Xisancun, Chezhan, Zhenjiang City. Officers from the Baotalu Police Station and the city 610 Office ransacked her home at about 3:00 p.m. on December 13, 2010 and took her belongings, including a laptop computer.

12. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Zhiwen and Other Practitioners Detained
Ms. Guo Kunlan, Ms. Chen Lixin, Ms. Zhang Liying, Ms. Shao Wenhui, Ms. Shao Zhiqin and Ms. Xie Xiaoying were sent to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan. Ms. Xiao Yaqin is still being held at the Qinglong County Detention Center and Mr. Yang Zhiwen was sent to Qinhuangdao City Detention Center.

13. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Xie Peiyu's Home Ransacked
A dozen officers from the Huanghelou Police Station in Wuhan City ransacked Ms. Xie Peiyu's home in Wuhan at about 12:30 a.m. on December 22, 2010. They took her computer, printer, DVD/CD burner, Falun Gong books, camera, cell phone, and 1,000 yuan cash, among other items.
