(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 7 provinces. As per this report, 10 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Emeishan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tong Junfeng Illegally Detained in Wumaping Prison
Mr. Tong Junfeng is a 30-year-old Falun Gong practitioner who lived in Yuenan Village, Shengli Town in Emeishan City. Several dozen police agents stopped him when he was returning home at noon on May 7, 2010. The agents arrested and kept him at Emeishan Detention Center.
Mr. Tong was covertly sentenced to five years of imprisonment on November 25, 2010, and his family was not notified. He is currently in Wumaping Prison in Muchuan County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province.
2. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhang Ximing Illegally Detained Gangbei Prison in Tianjin
3. [Hubei Province] Mr. Peng Liang and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou Detained in Division 1 at the Wuhan City Police Department
Mr. Peng Liang and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou posted messages saying “Falun Dafa is good” and “Heaven will eliminate the CCP” in the Dongxihu District of Wuhan City early in the morning on December 13, 2010. Plainclothes agents from the Dongxihu District Domestic Security Division and the Xincun Police Station arrested them. The two practitioners were held for 15 days and taken to the Dongxihu District Detention Center in Wuhan City on December 14, 2010.
Then 15 days later, Mr. Peng was sent to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in the Wuchang District, Wuhan City, and Mr. Zhang was sent to the Jinghe Detention Center in the Dongxihu District.

4. [Hebei Province] Mr. Han Xinlin Put into Solitary Confinement at Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province
Mr. Han Xinlin is currently in the Hebei Province First Labor Camp. He was placed in solitary confinement on January 12, 2011, and beaten by guards for making the hand gesture to send righteous thoughts.
5. [Kazuo County, Liaoning Province] Update Regarding the Arrests of Numerous Practitioners
Numerous practitioners in Kazuo County were arrested on December 25, 2010. Of those, Mr. Song Liancheng was taken to the Jinzhou Mental Hospital. Ms. Wang Yuling's non-practitioner husband was released.
Agents from the Kazuo County Police Department and from the Nanshao Police Station arrested three practitioners from Wudaoyingzi Village, including Mr. Song Liancheng and his wife, Ms. Li Deying, on the afternoon of December 25, 2010. More than 10 agents from the Kazuo Police Department and from the Dongshao Police Station arrested a practitioner surnamed Li in Kundu Village and his wife the evening of December 25.
More than 10 agents from the Kazuo Police Department and the Yangjiaogou Police Station arrested several practitioners in Yangjiaogou Town at 9:00 p.m., including Mr. Wang Haixin and his wife, Wang Zhenhui, and their daughter, Ms. Wang Yufang. Police then arrested Ms. Wang Yuling, Mr. Wang Haixin's daughter; her non-practitioner husband; and two children. The children were released about 2:00 a.m.
6. [Beijing] Mr. Dong Baogang Arrested and Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Dong Baogang is a practitioner in Longtou Village, Lixian Town in the Daxing District. Police arrested Mr. Dong Baogang one evening in the fall of 2009 while he distributed truth-clarification materials. It was said that Mr. Dong was sent to Yanqing County. His wife divorced him and remarried. One child was left at home unattended.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Xiaohui and Her Daughter Arrested
Xisantiao Police Station agents arrested Changchun practitioner Ms. Song Xiaohui and her daughter as they distributed truth-clarification materials on January 8, 2011. The agents then kept them in the Weizigou Detention Center.
