(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of December 31, 2010, practitioners in the Osaka region held a candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Consulate to protest the persecution of Falun Gong in China and to commemorate fellow Chinese practitioners who lost their lives during the persecution. The practitioners meditated continuously during the 4-hour event.

Over the last several years, local practitioners have given up their holiday celebration every New Year's Eve to rally outside the consulate to peacefully protest and call for an end to the persecution in China.
