(Clearwisdom.net) I am a resident of a town in Sichuan Province. This year I turn seventy two years old and my children have their own families. Neither I nor my wife have a profession; we are making a living by doing some odd jobs.

In 2000 I was sick at home for several months and had no money to go to a hospital. I just bought some medicine from a small nearby drug store. Things got worse as time went by. I could not eat or drink because my stomach was painful. If I forced myself to eat something, I would throw up. I was biting on my own clothing and taking painkiller shots to resist stomach pain and hunger. There was blood in my stool and I was extremely thin. When my family sent me to a hospital for a check-up, the doctor said that I was in the last phase of stomach cancer and that I should go home and prepare for my funeral.

One day two local Dafa practitioners came to see me and give me a copy of Zhuan Falun. They came to read two chapters with me every day. After five days we finished the entire book. During these five days Teacher was purifying my body. Dark colored clots of blood came out through both vomiting and defecation. My body felt a lot better.

Then, the practitioners let me watch the nine-lecture videos which took another five days. After that I was able to get up from my bed and eat and drink. There was no pain in my stomach. I learned that when one is sincere in cultivating Falun Dafa, the power of Teacher's compassion and Dafa will work miraculously to produce healing.

When I was able to do the exercises, the two practitioners brought me a video DVD showing Teacher demonstrating the five Falun Gong exercises. As I followed Teacher's instructions I could feel the qi moving around my entire body and many Falun turning all over my body. Furthermore, I saw colored Falun (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet) turning and flying in my house. I thought Teacher was telling me that only dedicated and sincere practitioners could understand the following words in “On Buddha Law”

"Nothing is as profound as BUDDHA LAW. Of all teachings in the world it is the most wondrous and highest science. “

Every day I read Zhuan Falun and was learning the exercises with the two practitioners. It took me a week to fully understand the details of all five exercises. After that I went with the two practitioners to a local Falun Gong center to study Zhuan Falun and do the exercises. After a full year of practice, all my former illnesses, gastric cancer, anemia, frozen shoulder, rhinitis, otitis media, and cataracts were gone.

There was a significant change in my body. My face had changed from yellowish to reddish white and from bony looking to stout. Now my legs have a lot of strength and I can walk very fast without feeling tired, because my body is no longer a drag on me.

Now I look like a man in his fifties instead of his seventies. Definitely, no one can tell that I had life-threatening stomach cancer. The fact that I have fully recovered has convinced all my family members that Falun Dafa is good and all practitioners are honest, kind, tolerant, peaceful, and helpful to others. What the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has said about Dafa are lies and its persecution of Dafa is a crime. In 2005 I withdrew from the CCP and all its associated organizations and so did all my family members. Then, all my relatives totaling over fifty people withdrew from the CCP and its associated organizations.

My entire family is grateful to Teacher for saving me and giving me a chance to become a Dafa practitioner during the Fa-rectification period.
