Additional Persecution News from China – October 29, 2011 (20 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 14 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 37 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ai Guifeng Sentenced in Prison

Ms. Ai Guifeng from Nahe City was arrested on the evening of March 1, 2011. She was in the custody of the police department, then detained in Qiqihar City Detention Center for six months. She was recently sentenced to a three-year prison term.

Ms. Liu Shuxian and a male practitioner whose name is unknown, both from Nahe City, were also arrested in mid-October 2011.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Xuecun Arrested

On the morning of September 15, 2011, Mr. Song Xuecun was arrested at the Dalian Expo Center. He was taken by forced to Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center.

3. [Dongning County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yan Xiuhua Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

Ms. Yan Xiuhua, 59, was arrested at her home early on the morning of September 24, 2011. She was taken to Harbin Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve a one-year term on October 27, 2011.

Many practitioners from Xianghe County were arrested on the afternoon of October 22, 2011, including Mr. Zhang Xian, Ms. Li Xiuqin and her husband Li Liandi, Mr. Wang Kuiyi, Ms. Wang Liling, Ms. Zhang Fengyuan, Ms. Kong Deping, Ms. Guan Yufeng, Mr. Meng Xianhong, and Mr. Wang Zheng. They are detained in Xianghe Detention Center. Later, Mr. Zhang Xian, Ms. Li Xiuqin, Mr. Li Liandi, and Mr. Wang Zheng were taken to Langfang Brainwashing Center.

9. [Beijing] Additional Information on Arrests of Practitioners in Tiantongxiyuan

On the afternoon of October 23, 2011, a group of practitioners studying the teachings of Falun Dafa were arrested at Unit 502, West Second Neighborhood, Tiantongyuan Community. Among them were Mr. Feng Qingdong and Mr. Sun Lixin from Liaoning Province and Mr. Song Zhao and Mr. Yao Yaun from Henan Province. The practitioners were taken to Changping District Detention Center located in Liucun Town.

10. [Ping'an County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Zhanli Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhanli lives in Mazhuang Village, Madian Town, Ping'an County. He was arrested on October 25, 2011.

11. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Zhiguo, Ms. Gao Fengnuan, and Ms. Li Xiufen are residents of Xiliujia Village, Tianzhuang Township. Early on the morning of October 26, 2011, the village CCP secretary led the township police station director to arrest these practitioners at their homes. Mr. Liu Zhiguo was released due to high blood pressure, but the two women were detained at the Hebei Province Legal Education Center for brainwashing.

13. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Two Practitioners Detained in Zhejiang Province Women's Prison

Ms. Mei Yuping, who lives in Dongfang Town, Jinyun County, sentenced to a term of four and a half years by the Jinyun County Court in 2010. She is now serving the term at the Zhejiang Province Women's Prison.

Ms. Du Lanrui lives in Canglingjiao Village, Hu Town, Jinyun County. On October 13, 2011, she was taken to Zhejiang Province Women's Prison to serve a three and a half year term.

14. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Zhifeng, Ms. Zheng Tingxiu, and Mr. An Xuehe from Chengguan Town in the Wuqing District were arrested when they went to Beijing on October 26, 2011. The police ransacked their homes the next day.

Ms. Che Qiuxian, in her 50s, lives in Beishahe Village. The police arrested her on October 22, 2011. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

16. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Dabian, 67; Ms. Fan Xiulan, 60; and Ms. Zhao Xiuchen, 57, were reported for clarifying the facts on the morning of October 22, 2011. The police took them to the Domestic Security Division for custody. Ms. Fan was released on the same day after having 3000 yuan extorted from her. Ms. Yang was released on the afternoon of October 23 after having 3000 yuan extorted from her. Ms. Zhao, who had to hand over 30,000 yuan, was also released on October 23, 2011.

Mr. Tan Jinhui is from Guanghan City, Sichuan Province. He was arrested at a hotel in Foshan City on October 24, 2011.

Mr. Chen Jiazhu is retired from the Direction Machine Factory located in the Mianyang City High-Tech Zone. The police arrested him at his home on the afternoon of October 26, 2011. He was taken by force to Taohuashan Brainwashing Center in Gejiamiao.

20. [Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Eight Practitioners

On the evening of August 22, 2011, officers from Baoquanling Farming Branch Bureau Police Department stormed into Ms. Li Guiyun's home. They arrested eight practitioners and confiscated computers, materials, cash, and other belongings. Six practitioners are still detained, including Ms. Lu Chengying, 68; Ms. Li Guiyun, in her 40s; Ms. Zhao Hongyu, around 40; Ms. Qi Xiumei, in her 40s; Mr. Liu Hongbing, in his 40s; and Mr. Liu, in his 40s, given name unknown.

Another practitioner, Mr. Liu Haibin, from Gongqing Farm in Baoquanling Branch, was arrested at home on October 17, 2011. He was taken by force to Jiansanjiang Brainwashing Center.
