The director secretly planned to split this money between him and me. However, I thought that a Falun Gong practitioner shouldn't get something that doesn't belong to him, so I didn't follow his plan. Consequently, he harassed me for being a practitioner. Afterwards, I clarified the truth to him and sent righteous thoughts to stop his actions. With Teacher's support, he was quickly transferred to another company. The new director praised me at a conference after learning the facts about this event. He informed us that most of the company sections had disorganized financial accounting, and many had lost money, yet, the company which I managed had a clear record and even showed a profit. This director respected me and later silently protected me.

I am in my fifties and work for the government. I started practicing Falun Gong in April 1997. I shared my initial cultivation experiences at the Seventh Online Fa Conference last year. I would like to focus this article on the aspect of resisting persecution and validating the Fa inside a government company.
I understood that there have been Dafa practitioners in close contact with every evil person. Teacher arranged this long ago - including who would start practicing Falun Gong, where this would occur, and what role he or she would play. Fa validation is like a grand play, and the actors are prearranged. The key is to see how each character performs.
The Buddha Fa is boundless and harmonious; it is extremely precise from the macroscopic to microscopic levels. In our county, there are seven or eight practitioners working for the government, and they're all very capable. Before July 20, 1999, we carried great influence and played leading roles in our organizations. People saw that Falun Gong practitioners came from all walks of life; some are quite accomplished - contrary to what the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) portrayed, that Falun Gong practitioners were all retired senior citizens, or losers.
The CCP has ruthlessly persecuted Dafa and practitioners since July 20, 1999. Practitioners stepped forward to validate Dafa. Although the CCP utilized every possible means to spread rumors and lies, many officials and the general populace didn't believe them, and were disgusted by the propaganda. Some people voluntarily distributed informational flyers for practitioners. Since the people didn't support the persecution, Jiang Zemin's regime then fabricated the “Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident” to incite hatred and escalate the persecution. Officials who refused to cooperate with the CCP were dismissed or transferred, creating a fearful atmosphere all over the country. Facing this pressure, some became silent. Others took advantage of this and became perpetrators, benefiting from torturing practitioners. As a result, the torture was escalated. Teacher does not recognize the persecution. We followed Teacher's words and resisted the persecution too. I focused mainly on the following aspects.
1. Firmly Safeguard the Fa and Resist the Persecution
After the persecution began, the county committee and the 610 Office harassed every practitioner on their blacklist and attempted to force them to hand in all Dafa books and write guarantee statements promising not to practice Falun Gong, but we firmly refused to comply. The secretary of the county committee was very irritated, and summoned over a dozen practitioners for a conference. They claimed that Falun Gong was against the CCP and communism, and attempted to force every practitioner to denounce Falun Gong, but again, we all refused. I talked about the miraculous healing effect of Falun Gong and that I was selected as the “excellent employee” for several consecutive years after following the principles of Zhen-Shen-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance). I said, “We don't get involved in politics. Even if you give us guns and cannons, we won't participate in riots, since that would be in conflict with the teaching of Zhen-Shan-Ren.” Several other practitioners shared their experiences. A senior practitioner who'd worked in a science and technology company for nearly forty years said, “I have been careful my whole life; I've won many awards, published books, and am an accomplished intellectual. However, I suffered from stomach cancer. The hospital couldn't cure me. After practicing Falun Gong, I am now completely recovered – I even saved the country huge medical expenses. Why don't you thank Falun Gong, instead of persecuting it?” Practitioners were righteous and our words were rational. The wicked people could not find a reasonable response. They initially attempted to force practitioners to stop practicing Falun Gong through this conference, however, practitioners turned the “brainwashing conference” into a truth-clarification conference. They had planned to record us and broadcast the conference on television in order to deceive people. This malicious plot was eliminated by practitioners' righteous thoughts. Once they realized that their goals couldn't be achieved, they ended the conference.
In 2004, Dafa banners were discovered in the county, so the Public Security Bureau assigned a special team to investigate. One Sunday, these wicked people deceived me at my work unit. An official from the 610 Office, the director and secretary of my work unit, and a three-person monitoring team were also present. I sent righteous thoughts to completely eliminate the persecution and asked Teacher for help. The 610 Office official asked me to detail my activities, including where I went after work. I refused and told him that I didn't go anywhere. The director became vicious and demanded that I write a guarantee statement to stop practicing Falun Gong. I firmly refused, and said sternly, “I know that I work hard and always perform my work assignments. What else do you want me to write? This is ridiculous. I will never do it.” I then walked out of the room. Since they didn't accomplish anything, they left.
2. Sending Righteous Thoughts at Close Range to Suffocate the Evil Forces
Some practitioners live in the city, very close to CCP government buildings and the court. We sent righteous thoughts daily to eliminate the evil beings in the dimension which controlled the perpetrators. Several practitioners arrived at the government buildings before 6:00 a.m. daily to send righteous thoughts. In 2005, I coordinated over twenty practitioners to share experiences and send righteous thoughts for the whole day at a location near the government buildings. We also sent righteous thoughts throughout the year, at every hour during our group Fa study. Our efforts greatly suppressed the evil forces. Some perpetrators refused to listen to our advice and actively participated in the persecution; they experienced retribution. In November 2000, the CCP “anti-cult” team leader (Falun Gong teaches people to be kind, therefore, the CCP itself is actually a cult) engaged in prostitution when he went to a meeting in Lanzhou. He was then beaten by gangsters who broke three of his ribs and was hospitalized for over two months. In addition, he was extorted 130,000 yuan. The assistant (also the vice secretary of the county CCP committee) had massive bleeding of the stomach in July 2001 and almost died. The county 610 Office director developed lung cancer in May 2001. He barely survived after half of his lungs were removed. According to (incomplete) statistics, during the past twelve years of persecution, over twenty perpetrators in our county have suffered retribution. Such occurrences served to provide warnings for everyone, and helped suffocate the evil forces, lessened the persecution, and helped to save them.
3. Spread the Truth About Falun Dafa and Save People
During the past twelve years of persecution, practitioners in our county have distributed information which explain the facts about Falun Gong, all year-round. We covered the whole county several times a year. People read the materials, even in isolated rural areas, and read phrases of truth-clarification written on paper money in very small stores. We established three independent sites to produce truth-clarification materials. Fellow practitioners fully utilized their expertise and spread the information, and asked people to withdraw from the CCP and affiliated organizations. I explained that I worked in a government company and clarified the facts about Falun Gong to my supervisors, colleagues, classmates, people who came to appeal and conduct other business. Many officials at different levels, police officers and 610 Office staff withdrew from the CCP. I regarded all people as my target audience to save, regardless of their social status. My only thought was to save them. Several officials in my work unit withdrew from the CCP after I clarified the facts about Falun Gong to them. After reading the book Zhuan Falun, one secretary said, “All it does is teach people to be kind. There is not one sentence that's anti-CCP. We have been deceived.” He not only withdrew from the CCP, but also asked his whole family to withdraw. Last year, he quit his CCP job and retired early, in order to be completely detached from the CCP.
I attended a banquet one day in June this year. As soon as I arrived, the person in charge took me to the main table. I saw several directors and the CCP school secretary, and planned to clarify the truth to them. I was thinking about how to start, when one director said that he'd had a tracheotomy over a year ago due to cancer. His voice was still hoarse. I joked, “You are not so capable. In the self-immolation incident fabricated by CCTV, Liu Siying had a tracheotomy, but she could still talk, sing and have an interview.” Everyone laughed. This director said emotionally, “That was a complete lie. I've experienced that surgery. Air can't flow through the vocal cords. How could one talk? It was so painful that I could barely breathe. I knew that it was a fabrication. Moreover, it was truly a poorly-played trick.” I then mentioned several other suspicious occurrences during the self-immolation incident, and everyone was convinced. Several directors cursed that the CCP was too corrupt and incompetent. It is a divine decree that the CCP must be eliminated. I am happy that they learned the truth.
Through this incident, I understood that, as long as we have the heart for saving people and take the initiative to talk to others, Teacher paves the road for us and our efforts are bound to be successful. Sometimes, we are hindered by too many human attachments and don't dare to step forward, thereby wasting many opportunities to save them.
4. Harmonize with the Clearwisdom Website and Actively Follow All Suggestions
The Clearwisdom website is Dafa's website. Our compassionate Teacher opened and supported this site for sharing cultivation experiences. Teacher told us to refer to the Clearwisdom website in regard to important issues. I first logged onto Clearwisdom in 2003. I used the Google search engine and was able to download some materials. Later, I bought a computer and established a materials site in July 2006. This enabled me to view the website and read the articles. I read Clearwisdom information daily, except during the two years when I was illegally detained. The website greatly helped my cultivation.
As a practitioner, I cannot just gain without paying something back. Starting in 2004, I sent articles to Clearwisdom, which shared my own experiences of exposing the evil forces. Whenever I saw suggestions for articles to publish on Clearwisdom, I'd actively collect articles and send them. For example, I collected evidence of torture suffered by practitioners. I took advantage of the fact that I'd worked in a CCP enterprise, and acquired official documents from the county committee and 610 Office. I then scanned them and sent them to Clearwisdom. I also created perpetrators' name and phone number lists, thereby exposing them on the website so that overseas practitioners could call them, and explain the facts about Falun Gong. The third area was about the torture cases of fellow practitioners. The fourth aspect was to expose the cases in which the perpetrators suffered retribution, which also served as warnings to all people, and helped suppress evil forces. The fifth aspect was to collect cases where kind people received good fortune, so that others could be saved after learning the truth.
5. Walk a Righteous Cultivation Path and Act as a Living Example
Every practitioner is a living example of truth-clarification. In ordinary society, people evaluate Dafa through practitioners' behavior. Therefore, I always followed the principles of Zhen-Shan-Ren in my daily life. Taking fame and gain lightly, I don't fight with non-practitioners. In 2001, my work unit offered apartments for employees with lots of benefits. Most young employees didn't have apartments. Even if they applied, they wouldn't receive the best locations, so I voluntarily donated my second floor apartment to others.

I am always strict with myself, work hard and never take public property. Several employees had to rewrite their project reports, however, mine never needed to be redone, since my supervisors were very satisfied. They respected me, so they were happy to listen when I clarified truth to them. Many people learned the truth about Falun Dafa and chose a bright future for themselves.
In conclusion, under Teacher's protection, I've walked my path of cultivation for the past twelve years. However, I still fall short compared to the standard that Teacher set forth in the recent article “What is a Dafa disciple?” I haven't done much of the three things compared to other diligent practitioners. I still have many human attachments, such as attachments of showing off, jealousy, and fighting. I am determined to study the Fa and do the three things well, seize every opportunity to save people, fulfill my mission and return home with Teacher.
