(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, some fellow practitioners in our area had difficulty getting on the Internet to access Dafa-related information. I have some understandings about this. There is nothing accidental on our path of cultivation.
As a Dafa practitioner, one must get rid of human notions through cultivation, and not seek to avoid conflicts by using everyday people's understandings and solutions for solving problems. Then, what should we do? We should follow what Teacher has told us,
“When you meet with a conflict, it doesn’t matter whether you are in the right. You should be asking yourself, “What on my part isn’t right in this situation? Might it really be that there is something wrong on my part?” You should all be thinking this way, with your first thought being to scrutinize yourself to try to find the problem. Whoever is not like this is not in fact a true cultivator of Dafa. It is a magical tool in our cultivation. This is a distinguishing feature of our Dafa disciples’ cultivation. Whatever it is that you encounter, the first thought should be to scrutinize yourself, and it’s called “looking within.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple, Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 New York Fa Conference”)
My thinking is that if I want to truly cultivate in Dafa, I have to diligently cultivate my mind. When I'm having trouble getting on the Internet, I should look for the problem in myself, because no one is able to block divine things. I need to see if my thoughts are righteous. If not, evil elements will instantly cause trouble.
Everything in the environment around a Dafa practitioner is purposely arranged. Whenever a there is a conflict, it is like a mirror reflecting the problems inside of me. I have to look inward to see what went wrong within myself. Things that are hidden deep inside have to be carefully removed in order to upgrade my xinxing.
Cultivation in Dafa is true cultivation, and true cultivation requires looking inward. Looking outward with a human mindst and placing the requirement of Fa-rectification in a secondary position during a conflict amounts to going astray.
So, when I found that it was difficult to get on the Internet, my first thought was that my own “heart-net” must be blocked. Looking inward, I realized that I had not been spending much time studying the Fa. Even though I had been sending forth righteous thoughts, it had been ineffective. I had been too busy doing things at home and at work, and I had slacked off in doing Dafa work because some fellow practitioners had been arrested. When human notions took control, I forgot that I am a Dafa practitioner and I forgot Teacher's words:
Be Rational, Awaken
“Rest momentarily for self-reflection, add righteous thoughts
Analyze shortcomings explicitly, advance again wholeheartedly.”

The way I understand it, my psychological tolerance is like a container, and it's time for me to increase the capacity of my mind. So, I made up my mind to study the Fa diligently, regardless of how busy I am.
As soon as I made that decision, I felt that my spirit was revived. Getting rid of human things enables divine things to take over. The more I corrected the problems with my “heart-net,” the easier it was for me to get on the Internet.
Often times, we say, “trust Teacher and the Fa.” However, when really confronting a disaster, do we trust Teacher one hundred percent? After asking myself this question, I found that I have many human notions. I have attachments to greed, eating, sleeping, laziness, wanting to get things cheaply, receiving praise and showing off. I thought that if I couldn't find my problems it was because I had cultivated well. Also, the attachment of wanting beautiful things and happiness arose. Whenever I came across problems, I preferred to use logic to look at them. Since I hadn't put all these attachments to rest, how could I save more people?
The process of breaking the “heart-net” blockade is also the process of Teacher helping me cleanse my mind. Once the “heart-net” blockade is destroyed, the Internet is readily available for us to read Dafa materials and my mind becomes clear.
Fellow practitioners, please let's remember what Teacher said,
“Our path is narrow. If you go off course ever so slightly, there will be problems. I don’t want to see you experiencing problems, nor do I want anyone to be sliding downward in their cultivation. Even less do I want to see you slack off in your cultivation because circumstances are changing for the better.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple, Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 New York Fa Conference”)
and
“I hope that you all cherish yourselves, cherish others, and cherish this environment that you have. Cherishing the path that you travel is cherishing yourselves.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple, Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 New York Fa Conference”)
Please kindly correct any errors in my understanding.
