Additional Persecution News from China – December 14, 2011 (20 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 18 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jiaxiang County, Shandong Province] Mr. Si Xiangchao Arrested and Home Ransacked

When Mr. Si Xiangchao distributed truth-clarification materials on December 6, 2011, agents from Jintun Police Station in Jiaxiang County arrested him and ransacked his home. Mr. Si is currently detained at the Jiaxiang County Detention Center.

2. [Ju’nan County, Shandong Province] Ms. He Xiangtian Arrested

Ms. He Xiangtian is a practitioner in her 50s from Dadian Town. A group of police agents broke into her home on December 10, 2011 and arrested her.

Ms. He was previously arrested on October 9, 2005 with her home ransacked. She was sent to a labor camp for a term of two years.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wan Jiuyun Arrested

Hanyang District practitioner Ms. Wan Jiuyun was arrested by plainclothes police at Jiangtan Park on the morning of December 8. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Longyao County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoli and Other Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners distributed Falun Gong materials on the afternoon of December 12, 2011, including Ms. Wang Xiaoli, Ms. Lan Cun, Ms. Hui Mian, and Ms. Meng Xiaoli. Agents in six police vans from Lianzi Town Police Station and Hualong Police Station forced them into the police vans and drove them to a police station.

Ms. Wang returned home on the evening of December 12 with her one-year-old child. The other three practitioners were sent to the Longyao County Detention Center.

5. [Beijing] Five Practitioners Sent to Labor Camp

Several Changping District practitioners were arrested on October 23, 2011. They are Ms. Sun Lixin, Ms. Yao Yuanying, Ms. Chang Chunyu, Mr. Li Ziming, and Mr. Guo Longbin. These practitioners were recently sent to the Tiantanghe Forced Labor Camp.

6. [Yuanqu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. An Xiaorun Arrested and Sent to Brainwashing Center

More than 10 agents from the local Domestic Security Division, 610 Office, Huafeng Town Police Station, and Coal Mine Police Station arrested 56-year-old Ms. An Xiaorun on the morning of November 21, 2011. The agents then sent Ms. An to the Taiyuan Brainwashing Center.

When Ms. An distributed truth-clarification materials in August 2004, Zhongtiao Police Station agents arrested her and sent her to a labor camp for a term of three years. She was sent to a labor camp again in April 2009 for a term of 18 months for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was released in October 2011, but now arrested again in November 2011.

7. [Kaili City, Guizhou Province] Update on the Arrest of Ms. Wang Ludan

Li Fei and other agents from Chengxi Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Ludan at work on the morning of November 25. She was later sent to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center in Guiyang City.

8. [Xiong County, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Harassed by Domestic Security Division Officers

Guo Junxue, Gao Peng, and other agents from Xiong County Domestic Security Division went to the homes of Ms. Hua and Ms. Gui Chun in the morning on November 24. They searched computers and took away Falun Gong materials. They then went to Ms. Wang Ping’s home to harass her.

Guo Junxue and other agents went to Ms. Hou Jingfen’s home on the afternoon of December 2, 2011 and confiscated Falun Gong books.

Zhang Baozhong, deputy head of the Domestic Security Division, led six agents and went to Dayin Village practitioner Mr. Li Ermin’s home on the afternoon of December 9. They searched his computer and attempted to deceive him into going to the police department.

9. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yaqiu Arrested

When Ms. Li Yaqiu posted truth-clarification materials in her residential area on the evening of December 9, 2011, Wolongshan Police Station agents arrested her. The agents confiscated 1,550 yuan from her, told her to withdraw money from the bank, and then released her at 10 pm that same day. When Ms. Li went to the bank on the morning of December 12, agents arrested her and later took her to the Weihai City Detention Center.

10. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Suren Robbed by Police

When Ms. Li Suren was detained by Taihe Town Police Station head Nie Wei, police agents confiscated the following personal belongings of her: 270 yuan-- money with truth-clarification messages written on the bills, an MP3 player, a cell phone memory card, and two Shen Yun DVDs.

11. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Persecution of Mr. Liu Fuming

When Dongpo District practitioner Mr. Liu Fuming sent his son to school on the morning of December 12, 2011, police arrested him and detained him at the Xianger Town Brainwashing Center.

12. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Zhenwen Arrested and Home Ransacked

Mr. Li Zhenwen is a practitioner in Youlian Village of Shuangcheng Town. Police arrested him on December 8, 2011, and sent him to a detention center. Police also confiscated all his Falun Gong books and a photo of the founder of Falun Gong.

Suburb Police Station agents went to Mr. Li’s home again at noon on December 12. They took more Falun Gong materials and damaged his NTDTV satellite dish.

13. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Honge Sent to Labor Camp

Fifty-year-old practitioner Ms. Du Honge was arrested on the afternoon of October 19, 2011. After being forced to write statements renouncing her practice, she was released on October 20 with limited personal freedom. Two plainclothes agents arrested her at home on December 8 and sent her to Ji’nan City First Labor Camp.

14. [Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Mohong Arrested at Home

Agents from Shuangfeng Forestry Police Department went to (Shuangfeng Town) practitioner Ms. Li Mohong’s home on the afternoon of December 12, 2011 and arrested her. The agents went to her home again later and confiscated a printer as well as a computer.

15. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Shuangcheng City police went to Wanjia Village practitioner Fu’s home on December 8, 2011 and arrested several practitioners, including Mr. Wang Xingyu, Mr. Zheng Wenping, and Ms. Zhao Shufang. The police agents confiscated Falun Gong books, sent these practitioners to a detention center, and harassed other practitioners. Some practitioners were forced to leave home to avoid persecution.

Mr. Wang’s wife, Ms. Yan Fen, is currently detained at the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison. Their daughter was released last year.

16. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Hong Forced to Leave Home

Caijia Town officials attempted to arrest Ms. Wang Hong on October 14, 2011, but failed to do so. She was forced to leave home to avoid persecution.

After Ms. Wang went to Beijing to appeal in 2000, she was sent to a labor camp with a term of one-and-a-half years. She was later held in a brainwashing center for six months. She was often harassed, even after she was released.

17. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Money Extorted from Ms. Fan Yuqin and Ms. Zhang Guiqin

Fangzi District practitioners Ms. Fan Yuqin and Ms. Zhang Guiqin were released. Fangzi District Domestic Security Division officials extorted 8,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan from them respectively.

18. [Yanjin County, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Rongduo Arrested

Several police officers went to Ms. Wang Rongduo’s home on the morning of December 9 and arrested her. She is now detained at the Yanjin County Detention Center.

19. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Yongxiu Harassed

Cujin Police Station agents and local official Han Meidi broke into the home of Ms. Li Yongxiu on December 6, 2011 and confiscated Falun Gong books.

20. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Ya’nan and Ms. Ma Jinfeng Arrested

Qingyang Police Station head Liu Gang arrested Ms. Yang Yanan on the morning of September 27, 2011 and arrested Ms. Ma Jinfeng in the afternoon on the same day. Ms. Yang’s husband is deceased and she takes care of her elderly mother-in-in-law. After she was arrested, her mother-in-law was in great grief and passed away not long after that.
