1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Married Couple Mr. Yuan Kun and Ms. Mao Aijuan Arrested

Ms. Mao Aijuan was arrested on November 5, 2011 while she visited a practitioner at home. She was held in the Changyi Brainwashing Center and later transferred to an undisclosed location. Mr. Yuan Kun was also arrested.

The couple has lived away from home since May 2001.

2. [Inner Mongolia] Update Regarding the Baochang Brainwashing Center

Ms. Ren Huizhen, who was held in the Baochang Brainwashing Center in Xilin Gol League, has been released. Ms. Lian Guiqin and Ms. Guan Yujie are still being held in the center.

3. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Ms. Shu Yulan and Ms. Chen Lingli Arrested

Ms. Shu Yulan and Ms. Chen Lingli, in their 40s, were arrested on the afternoon of November 25, 2011 as they distributed information about Falun Gong in Haikou Town, the Daguan District. Haikou Police Station officers made the arrest. Officers from the Daguan District Domestic Security Division ransacked the two practitioners' homes, and took away two computers, two color printers, Falun Gong books and informational materials and other personal belongings. We have learned that the two practitioners are currently in the Anqing City No.1 Detention Center.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Lai Xiuchun Beaten and Arrested

Ms. Lai Xiuchun from Miyun County was arrested on February 18, 2011. The police beat her and subjected her to two years of forced labor. She is currently being held in the Daxing Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she has been subjected to physical abuse and mistreatment. The toenails on her two big toes were stomped out by perpetrators. She was physically and verbally abused every day. Currently, she is in a confused state of mind.

5. [Shanghai] Crimes Committed by Changning District Domestic Security Division Officer Wang Jue

Wang Jue has been active in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. According to an incomplete estimate, more than 40 practitioners have been subjected to persecution by him. Mr. Zhou Bin, about 40 years old, was sentenced to 12 years in prison; Ms. Wang Xuefei, 11 years; Mr. Jiang Bin, five years; Mr. Sun Zhifeng (78) and Ms. Sun Zhifang (70), seven and a half years and seven years, respectively; Mr. He Binggang, five years; Mr. Yao Yuan, eight years; Ms. Li Hongzhen, five years; Ms. Yang Aihua, three years. Ms. Li Weiling faces an indictment by the Changning District Procuratorate.

6. [Luobei County, Heilongjiang Province] Atrocities Committed by Officers from the Gongqing Police Department in Baoquanling

Officers from the Gongqing Police Department arrested Mr. Liang on November 27, 2011. They stole items belonging to practitioners, including two laptop computers, a printer and two Falun emblems. When officers from the Binxi Police Station shot at Mr. Liang's nanny, the substance released from the gun caused her to be unable to breathe.

7. [Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Li Derun and Three Other Practitioners Imprisoned

Mr. Liu Derun is a teacher at the Zhanyi School. He was sentenced to four years in prison in 2008, and is currently being held in the Qi County Prison.

Mr. Qiu Shiren was sentenced to three years in prison in 2009, and is currently being held in the Qi County Prison.

Ms. Yang Haiyan and Mr. Hu Xiaohong from the Shuocheng District were each subjected to one year of forced labor, and are currently being held in the Xindian Women's Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan.

8. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners' Family Members Assaulted

More than ten people, including Ms. Zhao Yanju and other practitioners' family members, went together to the Shuangcheng City Domestic Security Division to demand the practitioners' release on the morning of November 23, 2011. Division head Xiao Jitian instigated officers to drag the practitioners' family members out by pulling them by their hair. A girl from Ms. Zhao's family was also beaten.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Sun Lijuan Arrested

Ms. Sun Lijuan, 62, from Laizhou City, Shandong Province, was arrested on the morning of November 26, 2011 near Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Chongqing] Dadukou District 610 Office Agents' Unsuccessful Attempt to Arrest Ms. Chen Yongmei

About ten people, including Dadukou District 610 Office agents and the Political and Judiciary Committee officers, broke into Ms. Chen Yongmei's home on the evening of November 24, 2011. They once again attempted to arrest Ms. Chen, but she was gone.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Update on the Persecution of Practitioners at the Fengyuandu Traditional Culture Lecture Hall

Dalian Domestic Security Division officers searched the Fengyuandu Traditional Cultural Lecture Hall on November 10, 2011. Mr. Zhang Jinzhao, Ms. Ding Ling and Mr. Xiao Zhankai are currently held in the Fushun Brainwashing Center; Mr. Luo Qijia and Mr. Tian Hanqin are in the Nanguanling Detention Center.

12. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Wanqiu Held in the Xi'an No. 2 Detention Center

Ms. Liu Wanqiu from Lanzhou, Gansu Province has been persecuted many times at the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center. She was frequently harassed following her release from the brainwashing center this year. She had to go to Xi'an for a part time job.

Ms. Liu was followed and arrested on July 25, 2011 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong near Gaoxin Road in Xi'an City. The police ransacked her rented residence, and took her to the Xi'an No. 2 Detention Center. Her family has been forbidden to visit her.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Dai Zhiqin Lives Away from Home to Avoid the Persecution; Her Husband Passes Away

Ms. Dai Zhiqin, 66, from Xiexing Village, Zhongliangshan, the Jiulongpo District, was arrested in February 2009 by officers from the Jiulongpo District 610 Office and the Yuqingsi Police Station. She was held in the Huayan Detention Center for a month, and then given a one-and-a-half-year forced labor sentence, but served the term outside the labor camp. Her home was ransacked. She and her husband had to live away from home. Her husband passed away on August 7, 2011.

14. [Zhengding County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Jinping's Salary Suspended

Ms. Yang Jinping, 41, a teacher at the Zhengding County Vocational Education Center, was arrested three times. On August 8, 2009, three months following her release from the Hebei Province Women's Prison, she was arrested again for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp to be held for 15 months.

When she was released in late February 2011, Ms. Yang's hair had turned white, and she looked much older than her age. She has to lie in bed most of time as a result of the persecution that she was subjected to in the forced labor camp. In May 2011, her employer suspended her salary, cutting off her only source of income.

15. [Dongying, Shandong Province] Ms. Bao Guo'e Held in a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Bao Guo'e, a Shengli Oil Field employee, was arrested on the afternoon of November 15, 2011 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong at the entrance to the Oil Extraction No.2 Middle School. Officers from the Binbei Police Station made the arrest. She was transferred on November 26 to the Oil Extraction Peixiao Brainwashing Center.

17. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Details of the Persecution of Mr. Zhang Zuyong

Ms. Zhou Fenglan and Mr. Zhang Zuyong, in his 70s, posted signs to expose crimes committed by officers from the Huishan Police Station in a residential area in Huishan on November 2, 2011. Four plainclothes officers from the police station, who had been staked out, arrested and took them to the station. Mr. Zhang is being held in a detention center.
