(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. Since then, I've followed the principles of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance in my cultivation practice, and have been healthy, with a clear mind and righteous conduct. I work hard and respect my colleagues. I show consideration for others' perspectives when dealing with company issues.
Before practicing Falun Gong, I received many gifts due to the power of my position and its level in society. I had many attachments, such as competition, arrogance, showing off, vanity, and zealotry. Under the influence of the attachments to fame and profit, I obtained and achieved whatever I wanted. I never held back. For example, I always acquired double the allotments of office supplies compared to my colleagues. Whenever something in the office was replaced, such as tea cups and ash trays, I asked for another set to take home. The most obvious case was the hand-vacuum in my office, which was very well-made. At year's end, I claimed that it was damaged and not working, and took it home. Whenever there was profit sharing in the office, I always wanted and obtained the biggest share. I fought for salary increases, and anything else that I could benefit from. I was extremely greedy. Sometimes, I didn't even understand why I was so greedy.
Six months after practicing Falun Gong, I understood that my past behavior was completely wrong. In the previous decades, I've lost a lot of virtue, and have hurt many people. Falun Dafa can change people's minds and completely purify their hearts. Falun Dafa can help convert bad people to good people. Therefore, I decided to return everything that I had obtained inappropriately, back to my office.
