Solemn Statement
When I was held in a brainwashing center I was intimidated and coerced by the guards into writing repentance statements against my practicing Falun Gong. I hereby declare everything that I wrote is null and void. I am deeply remorseful for what I did. Because of my indulgence in my worldly life, I failed to study the Fa or send forth righteous thoughts well and the old forces took advantage of such loopholes to persecute me. I made up my mind to change my course and restart my cultivation in Dafa. I will study the Fa well, respect the Fa and Teacher, and follow the path arranged by Teacher to complete my cultivation.

Solemn Statement
On August 26, 2010, three police officers came to my hotel and
detained me in the hotel for interrogations for three days. After
living abroad for a long time, I was not quite aware of China's way
of persecuting Falun Gong and was very scared by the police.
Because of my failure to study the Fa well, I had no righteous
thoughts at that moment and the only thing in my mind was my wish
to leave China and go back home. To that end I confessed to the
police what I did in Dafa activities and casually signed a
guarantee statement to renounce my practicing Falun Gong. In
the following days I felt very remorseful for what I had done.
Through studying the Fa and looking inside I found I had a strong
attachment of being afraid. The old forces made use of the loophole
and forced me into doing things that let Dafa down. This is
shameful to my cultivation. I hereby declare all that I said and
did that was disrespectful to Dafa and Teacher is null and void.
Also I declare the guarantee statement that I wrote as void. I will
go on with my cultivation by doing the three things well and do
my best to make compensations for the losses that I caused to Dafa.
I will diligently follow the path arranged by Teacher and be a
worthy Dafa practitioner.
