1. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Jingwen Held in Shanghai Women's Prison
In January 2009, Ms. Wang Jingwen, a practitioner from Kunming City, was arrested when she was distributing materials about Falun Gong in Shanghai. She was held at the Pudong Detention Center, Shanghai, and then taken to the Shanghai Women's Prison. Because of her firm belief in Falun Dafa, she was held in an isolation cell, tortured, and monitored around the clock.
2. [Chengde, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Baoli Detained in Chengde Detention Center
Ms. Zhao Baoli was arrested on January 5, 2011. Her family asked the Domestic Security Division, Chengde City Police Bureau and Chengde City 610 Office several times for her release and the return of all confiscated items, including her savings deposit book, certification of deposit, salary card, and cash totaling 210,000 yuan. The police refused to release her and kept all confiscated items. Ms. Zhao is still in the Chengde Detention Center, located at Laoxiying, Shuangfengsi Town, Chengde City. Police from the State Security Bureau of Chengde are involved in persecuting her.

At about 9:00 a.m. on January 19, 2011, police arrested Mr. Zuo Fusheng from Fuzhou City at home. He was taken to the Fuzhou City No. 1 Detention Center.

On January 18, 2011, Ms. Wu Shuqin from the Jinzhou District in Dalian City was taken to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Gao Weixi Held in Siping Shiling Prison
In 2008, police officers from the Changchun City Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Gao Weixi, 73, from Changchun. They ransacked his home and confiscated 20,000 yuan, an expensive watch, sportswear, a carpet, and other property. Mr. Gao is being held in Siping Shiling Prison, Jilin Province.
Recently he showed symptoms of a heart attack. Doctors from Siping Shiling Prison Hospital and Siping Central Hospital advised that he needed more extensive medical care than provided by the prison. Officials from the Jilin Province 610 Office refused to sign release papers, claiming that the local police station refused to accept him. They also claimed that Mr. Gao was not a local resident.
6. [Xinzheng City, Henan Province] Additional Facts about the Persecution of Four Practitioners from Xinzheng City
On the evening of October 15, 2010, officers from the Xuedian Town Police Station in Xinzheng City arrested Ms. Jia Jinhui, Ms. Chen Xihong, Ms. Zhang Shuling, and Ms. Chen Xiaoni, all practitioners from Xinzheng City, when they were distributing Falun Dafa truth clarification materials. They were held in the Xinzheng City Detention Center for more than three months. 7. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Kaiming's Life In Danger
Mr. Wang Kaiming from the Liaohe Oil Field in Panjin City was brutally tortured by guards in the No. 4 District, Panjin Prison on the morning of January 19, 2011. He went into a coma and showed symptoms of a cerebral hemorrhage. His condition is grave. He was taken to Panjin No. 2 People's Hospital.

8. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
On the morning of January 18, 2011, officers from the Sujiadian Town Police Station arrested Ms. Han Hongying, Ms. Li Shulian, and Ms. Li Xinju from Sujiadian Town, Qixia City, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in the market. They are now in the Qixia Detention Center. Police threatened their families and demanded 6,000 yuan. They threatened to take the practitioners to the labor camp unless they received the money.

10. [Liaoning Province] Practitioners in the No. 8 District of Liaoning Province Women's Prison Forced to Perform Hard Labor
Recently, the custom-made garments operation in District 10, Liaoning Women's Prison, was transferred to District 8. The detainees in District 10 were also transferred to District 8.
The guards in District 8 ordered detainees in charge of garment production to set a production quota. Any detainee that did not complete the quota was brutally beaten and handcuffed to the heater. Ms. Wang Chunyan, a practitioner from Dalian City, suffered from high blood pressure but wasn't allowed to take a break. She had to oversee detainees' work.

On January 14, police officers arrested Mr. Fei Qunwen, 46, from Jixiang Village, Xingqiao Town, Sheyang County. His current whereabouts is still unknown. Mr. Fei is the breadwinner in his family. His wife is mentally ill, but has to take care of their small son on her own.

Ms. Xiao Jing from Zhejiang Province was reported to the police when she was asking people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations in Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province. She was sentenced to a prison term of three years and two months and taken to the Zhejiang Women's Prison. No family visits are allowed.

16. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yunfeng and Ms. Lv Huilin Arrested
On January 12, 2011, officers from the Daotaiqiao Police Station, Yilan County, arrested Mr. Wang Yunfeng and Ms. Lv Huilin from Sandaogang Town, Yilan County. On January 13, 2011, officers from Domestic Security Division, Yilan County Police Bureau ransacked their homes. They found about 20 copies of Minghui Weekly at Mr. Wang Yunfeng's home and tried to arrest his wife.
Mr. Wang's family and Ms. Lv's family are demanding the practitioners' release. Police demanded several thousand yuan for their release. Mr. Wang and Ms. Lv are now in the Yilan County Detention Center.

Ms. Lu Mengjun, 49, from Xiangtan, Hunan Province, was sentenced to a four-year prison term and is being held in the Changsha Women's Prison. Her term was supposed to end on February 3, 2011. She was brutally tortured, lost several teeth, and her arms were broken. Her life is in danger. The guards had doctors treat her and then told her family to pay the medical fees.

18. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shumei Tortured
On the evening of November 26, 2010, Shouguang City 610 Office agents and officers from the Hou Town Police Station in Shouguang City arrested Mr. Wang Chunjing and Ms. Li Shumei, his wife, from Lihedong Village, Hou Town, without showing an arrest warrant . The couple had been preparing the wedding ceremony for their son. They took Ms. Li to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province and Mr. Wang to Zhangqiu Men's Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Wang was not accepted by the camp because he didn't pass the physical examination. Several days later, his son's wedding was held as scheduled, but without his mother present.
Ms. Li Shumei's son and daughter-in-law went to see her and brought cotton clothes. The guards refused to let her family visit and didn't allow her to accept the clothes because she didn't give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Ms. Li's mother died from worrying about her daughter.

On December 18, 2010, officers from the Renqiu City Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Li Aihua, a practitioner from Bohai Oil Vocational College, Renqiu City, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She is in the Renqiu Detention Center.
Ms. Li was detained several times over the past years. At the beginning of 2002, she was sentenced to a five-year prison term by Renqiu City Court for telling people about Falun Gong. In September 2006, she was released, but was arrested again last month.

On January 11, 2011, Mr. Zhang Haibin from Quzhou County was arrested while he was making a deposit at a bank in Handan City, Hebei Province. He was taken to Qiu County Detention Center in Handan City. According to Mr. Zhang's fellow villagers, the police went to his home and broke in when they found nobody was in. Mr. Zhang's elder brother went to the detention center but was not allowed to see him. Mr. Zhang has been on hunger strike for eight days.
