Liu Xiufeng and Song Jinzhi Sent Back to Their Ancestral Homes
At 1:00 p.m. on January 6, 2011, two plainclothes police officers, claiming to be from the Changping District Dongxiaoying Police Station, arrested practitioners Ms. Liu Xiufeng and Ms. Song Jinzhi, citing a lack of temporary residency registrations, and escorted them back to their registered ancestral homes. Wang Hongen of Baoding State Security Bureau and Dai Chungjie of Laishui State Security Bureau also participated in the arrests.
Back home, Liu Xiufeng was detained at Laishui County Police Station and was interrogated by Laishui police and a Beijing police officer. The interrogation started that night and continued until the next morning. In the afternoon, police forcibly took her to the Women and Children's Hospital for a physical examination, preparing to send her to a forced labor camp for further harsh treatment.
During this time, Liu Xiufeng was strictly monitored by Laishui police and an agent of the 610 Office. They even had people accompany her when she used the toilet. Later, Ms. Liu returned home. On January 7, 2011, local police and Beijing police officers went to confiscate her computer and ordered her not to work out of town, and especially not in Beijing.
Persecution Carried Out by Li Jinpeng, Laishui Chief of Police
On the morning of January 7, 2011, Laishui chief of police Li Jinpeng, along with five police officers, stormed into Ms. Liu Linhua's home, tore up her Chinese New Year's writings and painting, confiscated her Dafa books and materials, and forced her into a police vehicle. She was detained at Laishui Police Station and made to write a letter guaranteeing that she would quit practicing Falun Gong.
Laishui County Police Robbed Lu Xiuqin's Home
On January 5, 2011, approximately eight Laishui police officers stormed into and ransacked Ms. Lu Xiuqin's home. They confiscated her Dafa books and other informational materials. She had been sent to a forced labor camp before. Recently, CCP personnel in Lou Village searched every house for practitioners, saying that if anyone quits practicing, the person would be given “a barrel of oil, a sack of rice, and a sack of flour.”
