(Clearwisdom.net) It is easy to see that in the past few years the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials that have actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong feel scared when they visit foreign countries. They face protests and condemnation for their part in the CCP's trampling of human rights. Some receive court summonses when they are outside of China. Sometimes, the host country won't even let them enter.
According to a Clearwisdom report, when Chen Zhenggao, the governor of Liaoning Province who has actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong, arrived at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan on February 15, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners told him that a criminal charge had been filed against him. Chen and his people dashed out of the airport and were on a tour bus less than five minutes later.
Chen is the seventh high-ranking CCP official visiting Taiwan to face criminal charges for alleged genocide. Taiwan Falun Dafa Association president Mr. Chang Ching-Hsi adamantly requested that the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office immediately subpoena and arrest Chen Zhenggao.
Liaoning Province is one of the provinces that reportedly persecutes Falun Gong most severely. Incomplete statistics show that by February 2011, 409 Falun Gong practitioner deaths due to persecution in Liaoning have been confirmed. Chen is one of the top leaders in Liaoning directing the persecution. Ms. Zhu Wanqi, Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyers Group spokesperson, pointed out, “Chen Zhenggao has been totally involved in the persecution of Falun Gong for 12 years.”
Since Jiang Zemin started the persecution in 1999, Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world have peacefully requested an end to the persecution and for the prime culprits to be brought to justice: Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang. Many high-ranking CCP officials actively participating in persecuting Falun Gong have encountered Falun Gong protesters during their visits to other countries. They have resorted to using back doors or even the doors near trash dumpsters to enter or leave the hotels they are staying in.
Human Rights Violators Are Not Welcome
In 2004, the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) listed 45 Chinese officials who persecuted Falun Gong on its watch list. The RCMP can refuse those on the list entry to Canada, repatriate them, or indict them on the spot. For example, Bo Xilai, then Minister of Commerce and former Liaoning governor, was supposed to accompany Hu Jintao to visit Canada in 2005. However, he had been indicted in the U.S. when accompanying Wu Yi for an official visit in 2004. Falun Gong practitioners appealed to the RCMP to not allow Bo to enter Canada. Bo was also on the RCMP's watch list. Eventually, Bo's name disappeared from Hu's delegation list.
Bo Xilai has been indicted by Falun Gong practitioners in 12 countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Spain, New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Russia, South Korea, Poland, and Australia, for his crimes in persecuting Falun Gong. His crimes have made him unwelcome in many countries.
The No CCP Villain International Alliance website (http://www.noccpvillain.org) shows that the Legislative Yuan and 12 local parliaments in Taiwan have passed human rights legislation to not invite, welcome, or receive CCP officials who violate human rights. Two weeks before Chen Zhenggao's visit to Taiwan, Legislator Chen Ting-fei's office and the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association delivered a list of more than 10,000 evildoers in China who have persecuted Falun Gong to the National Immigration Agency, Mainland Affairs Council, and Ministry of Justice.
Violators of Human Rights Face Legal Consequences
In November 2009, the Spanish National Court indicted Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Bo Xilai, Jia Qinglin, and Wu Guanzheng, for the crimes of “genocide” and “torture.”
Over 50 legal documents have been filed against CCP officials in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia citing genocide and torture of Falun Gong practitioners and other crimes against humanity. In the U.S., besides former CCP head Jiang Zemin being charged, former Beijing Mayor Liu Qi, former Liaoning Province Deputy Governor Xia Deren, former Deputy Party Secretary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and former Deputy Director of “the Chinese Academy of Sciences Party committee leadership team for dealing with the Falun Gong problem” Guo Chuanjie, former Hubei Province Wuhan City Radio and Television Bureau Director and Wuhan Television Station Director Zhao Zhizhen, Gansu Province Party Secretary and former Jilin Province Deputy Party Secretary Su Rong, Hubei Province Public Security Bureau Deputy Director and Hubei 610 Office Director Zhao Zhifei, and so on, are all under indictment. Liu Qi, Xia Deren, Guo Chuanjie, and Zhao Zhifei were found guilty for their roles in instigating and carrying out the persecution of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners in China in trials in absentia. In 2007, New South Wales Supreme Court in Australia tried Bo Xilai in absentia for a lawsuit filed by Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Pan Yu. Plaintiff Pan won and Bo was found guilty of torture.
There is an old saying: “Those who take the moral ground are supported by many and those who lose the moral ground are supported by few.” Officials at all levels in China who actively participate in persecuting Falun Gong and trampling on human rights will face not only moral condemnation and legal consequences, but also retribution under heaven's laws.
We hereby advise those CCP officials who still have a conscience to abandon their evil ways and go with the good, stop persecuting innocent Falun Gong practitioners, and try their best to make up for the damage they have caused Falun Gong practitioners.
