(Clearwisdom.net) The popular uprisings which have toppled the regimes in Tunisia and Egypt have alarmed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), who have stepped up the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. A few days ago, some practitioners and six lawyers, including Jiang Tianyong, were illegally arrested, and the police also threatened some other practitioners. The number of practitioners being arrested has recently increased.

As practitioners, we don't get involved in politics. However, every time there is a significant political event elsewhere, the persecution escalates in China. We should not ignore this phenomenon. If we ignore the evil's actions, then we are actually encouraging it.

I was harassed by my boss before the Asian Games in 2010. My workplace threatened to send me to a brainwashing center if I didn't stop practicing Falun Gong. A practitioner then published my boss’s name and telephone numbers on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net). Soon enough, my boss received many phone calls from fellow practitioners around the world. After a few days, he came to my home and showed me the log of phone calls he had received, and they gave up their efforts to persecute me. I was deeply touched and grateful for fellow practitioners’ help. I also felt the power of Dafa!

I have noticed that some practitioners are in various states of indifference. Some think that the persecution has lasted for too many years and wish it would end soon. Others feel that we should just accept this persecution as a fact of life, and some even place blame on those who have been arrested. These practitioners don't have a firm belief in Master and Dafa, and they have in a sense, encouraged the persecution. These thoughts are also due to selfishness and attachments to comfort.

We should act as a whole and not allow the evil to persecute any one of us. We can call the detention centers, mail truth-clarification materials, write articles, send forth righteous thoughts, and directly go to the detention centers and demand the release of our fellow practitioners.

Master has saved us from hell. We have been able to persevere through this most evil persecution to this point because of Dafa’s might. We are capable of anything if we have righteous belief in Dafa and Master.
