Benefits from Belief in Dafa

(Clearwisom.net) Falun Dafa has brought goodness to my whole family and others. The benefits I obtained from my belief in Dafa are briefly described below.

Rectal cancer disappeared after practicing Falun Gong

I had many health problems prior to practicing Falun Dafa. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 1994 and hospitalized for two months in 1996 for treatment. I took regular medication after I was discharged, but I did not get better.

I started practicing Falun Dafa in March 1997. I then discontinued my medications. My health quickly improved right after I began to practice, and I fully regained my health two months later. My gray hair turned black.

In July 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa and Falun Gong practitioners. I didn't give up my belief in Dafa and continued cultivation, because I understand that the persecution was a profound mistake.

One day instead of one year

On December 24, 2002, I walked downstairs carrying two buckets of water and fell down on the last step. I fractured my left knee. The orthopedic doctor estimated it would take up to a year for me to recover. My response was that I would recover by the next day.

My knee really hurt that night. I persistently and repeatedly sent forth righteous thoughts and practiced the exercises. The pain was gone the next day, and I could walk again. My daughter-in-law was surprised at the power of Dafa. My son has believed in Falun Dafa ever since.

Dafa benefits the whole family

I continued to cultivate and clarify the truth about Falun Gong to my relatives, neighbors, and friends after the persecution started in 1999. They have gradually changed their views on Dafa. Because of the amazing things that happened to me, my family not only truly believed in Dafa but also sincerely introduced it to their friends. My whole family was blessed by Dafa.

In 2002, my second son and my son-in-law ran into a tornado on their way home to Wuhan. Their car was flipped and spun around several times before it crashed into a tree. The car stood upright. The doors were totally damaged and the window shattered. However, all five passengers inside the car were unharmed.

On January 1, 2007, my son hit a high-voltage pole, a tree, and then another electric pole. Although the car was totally destroyed, no passengers were injured.

Neighbors benefited, too

Knowing that I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, everyone in the surrounding communities is friendly and calls me “Falun Gong.” Some have even greeted me with a “Heshi” gesture, pressing their palms together in front of their chest.

Every family in our area maintains an altar. Many used to hang a picture of Mao (the arch-villain of the CCP) in the living room. That picture emitted very bad energy that affected the whole family. I visited every family and offered them a picture with a good luck drawing to replace the bad one. I also clarified the truth of Falun Gong, advised them to recite “Falun Dafa is good,” and gave them amulets(1). They were very grateful and respectful of Dafa.

I also visited the elderly in nursing homes and clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to them. They learned the truth about the persecution and realized that Falun Dafa is good. They thus agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

My neighbors have benefited from the mighty power of Dafa, as I describe below.

A fish vendor quit the CCP after learning the truth about Falun Dafa. One day, the front part of her tricycle carriage suddenly separated from the chassis as she was driving down the road. She was not hurt. In another accident the woman drove it into a pond, but she was not injured. She felt she was blessed because of her belief in Dafa.

My second son worked for a big construction company. Every employee, from the owner ondown, has quit the CCP. The owner always greeted me with “heshi^” and said, “Falun Dafa is good.” He claims that his business has gone very well ever since he realized the truth of Falun Gong.

My son's coworker was injured when a heavy machine part fell from a high rise building onto his head. His helmet was smashed and he passed out. My daughter was on the scene. She recited, “Falun Dafa is good. My mom is a Falun Dafa practitioner. People near a practitioner will be blessed. He will be fine.” She also called me to send righteous thoughts for him.

The hospital immediately performed a craniotomy in a procedure lasting six hours. Surprisingly, he ate two bowls of porridge the next morning. All the doctors were flabbergasted at this. It was unprecedented.

All the police station employees quit the CCP

A Falun Dafa practitioner does not differentiate among sentient beings, including government officers. I thus have persistently clarified the truth of Falun Gong at a local police station. After understanding the truth and inspired by the mercifulness of Dafa, all the employees at the station, from the chief on down, quit the CCP and stopped persecuting practitioners. All newly assigned officers also did the same after learning the truth. They all were blessed.

In 2007, five of us clarified the truth in public. We were hauled off to the police station by a new policeman who did not realize the truth yet. I silently begged Master in my heart, “This is not a place I should be in. Please let out all the bad stuff still remaining in my body, if any.” I instantly vomited a lot of dirty stuff after this and I passed out. My brother-in-law was called to take me to the hospital.

I regained consciousness right after our car left the police station. We immediately returned to the station to beg for the release of the other four practitioners. The police then said to us. “We all know Falun Dafa is good. You all can go home now because you are good persons. We won't report this incident.” They all quit CCP later.

One day, my son came home with his city mayor and chief officer friends. I made the best use of this opportunity to clarify the truth to them. They then realized that it is wrong to persecute Falun Gong. Following my advice, they released all Falun Gong practitioners in their custody. They also quit the CCP. They indeed did a good thing to avoid suffering retribution.

Another event involved a local chief officer and his assistant who visited our house. I clarified the truth to them and gave them a Shen Yun DVD. They were very delighted about this.

A Falun Dafa cultivator should reach the level of compassion “To love your enemies” and influence those ordinary people who are hostile to others. We practitioners should have no enemies in our hearts. All sentient beings are to be saved. We certainly hope they understand the truth and have a good future.

1. Amulets - In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
