Solemn Declaration
I was “illegally arrested” and sent to a brainwashing center in February of this year for “clarifying the truth” and urging people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. During my detention, I was forced to watch slanderous TV programs and to read libelous statements against Dafa. I failed the tests and signed a statement renouncing Falun Dafa. I feel deep regret and shame for letting down Master and Dafa. Looking inwards, I realized that my failure was attributable to my attachment to fear and my lack of righteous thoughts and divine thoughts to do the three things well. I especially didn't study the Fa diligently. In order not to disappoint Master, I will firmly study the Fa, keep up with Fa-rectification, send righteous thoughts and save more sentient beings. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done during my detention that did not comply with the principles of Dafa is void. I will work harder to make up for the damage I have caused to Dafa. I will steadfastly cultivate to the end.”

I obtained the Fa in June 1994. I was illegally arrested and sent to a forced labor camp in 2009. Because of my attachments of fear and sentimentality and lack of diligent Fa study, I succumbed to the pressure and threats and unwillingly wrote the three statements. This was disrespectful to Master and Dafa. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done which was not in compliance with the Fa is null and void. To make up for the damages that I have caused to Dafa, I will steadfastly cultivate to the end, do the three things well, and walk the path arranged by Master.”
