(Clearwisdom.net) After being homeless for several years in order to avoid persecution, practitioner Wang Suping from Weifang City, Shandong Province was arrested by police at Hanting Coal Market on March 18, 2010. She was then illegally sentenced to nine years in prison and was taken to Jinan Prison on January 10, 2011.

Wang Suping used to suffer from neurasthenia, stomach problems and liver disease for many years, but after practicing Falun Gong, all her illnesses went away and her body and mind benefited greatly. After the Chinese Communist Party started its persecution of Falun Gong, she went to Beijing to appeal. Since then, she has been repeatedly persecuted and detained over ten times.

After Going to Beijing to Appeal, Wang Suping Is Repeatedly Detained and Her Father Passes Away

In February 2000, Wang Suping went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, but she was brought back to her town by the village government officials. She was detained and handcuffed to a heating radiator and made to stand there for four days and nights. Qu Jingli (the village Political and Judiciary committee secretary) told her: “As long as you agree to write a repentance statement to give up your belief in Falun Gong and pay 5,000 yuan, you will be released.” Wang Suping did not cooperate. The authorities then went to harass family members at her parent's home, her husband's workplace and her child's school. Her father, who was already sick, became bedridden after the harassment. After having 2,000 yuan extorted from her, Ms. Wang was held for fifteen days at a detention center.

After being released from the detention center, Wang Suping was held in the garage of the village government for seventeen days. During that time, she was not given any food. Her children had to bring her food when they came to visit her. Her father wanted to see her very much, but his health kept deteriorating. Her family members went to the village government to request her release so that she could see her sick father, but the request was denied. She went on a hunger strike to protest, and was released two days later. Her father had already passed away and she did not get to see him before his death. The undue stress and ultimate death of her father was a direct result of the persecution by the village government officials.

Police Tell Ms. Wang: “We Are Thieves”

At 10:00 p.m. on October 26, 2000, under the direction of the village police station head, Du Shimin, police broke into Wang Suping’s house by climbing over the fence and kicking in the door. They dragged Ms. Wang from her bed, terrifying her child. The police confiscated a picture of Master Li Hongzhi, Falun Gong books, two radio cassette recorders and 1,400 yuan in cash. When Wang Suping questioned them about taking her possessions, the police said arrogantly: “We are thieves and you can't do anything about it. You can sue us if you'd like.”

Persecuted and Detained at a Forced Labor Camp

When Wang Suping was putting up informational posters about Falun Dafa on September 2, 2001, she was again arrested by local village police. She was held at the detention center, where she was severely tortured. Ms. Wang's tooth was broken and her face and legs were black and blue from the beatings. She was tied to a cross and brutally force-fed. They attempted to insert a feeding tube several times but failed. Fearing that she might die due to her emaciated condition, they released her.

While Homeless, Ms. Wang's Family Members Are Violently Harassed

On February 27, 2003, the local village police broke into Ms. Wang's house and forced her husband and child to the ground, slapping the child. They could not find Wang Suping in the house, so they brought her husband and child to the police station. They threatened the child, saying: “If you don't tell us where your mother is, we'll send you to a forced labor camp.” The police handcuffed her husband to a pole. His clothes were drenched in the rain, and he was trembling in the cold.

On March 31, 2009, while Wang Suping’s husband was at work, he was arrested by police from the Haihua development zone. He was detained at the security division of the base plant for four or five days while the police forcibly tried to get him to tell them the whereabouts of his wife. He was threatened and deprived of sleep, and as a result he almost lost his mind. After he was released, on April 13, the police arrested Wang Suping’s daughter while she was at work. She was detained at Antai Security Brigade for three or four days and was not allowed to sleep. She was handcuffed to a chair and when she fell asleep, they hit the table and shouted at her, trying to force her to tell them the whereabouts of her mother.

After Being Sentenced to Prison, the CCP Still Harassed Ms. Wang's Family

After Wang Suping was arrested on March 18, 2010 and sentenced to nine years in prison, the CCP attempted to coerce her youngest daughter. Plainclothes police went to Ms. Wang's eldest daughter's workplace to find out which school her younger sister attended. They were not successful in getting the information, so they went to her husband's workplace to try and get the information. In April, the police eventually found the youngest daughter and said to her: “Do you know where your mother is? How long has it been since you contacted her? When was the last time you saw her? You may write a letter to your mother, and if we find her we can give it to her.” The police were not successful in coercing the daughter, even when they threatened her.
