(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners are kind people who conduct their lives according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Many people who have witnessed their positive behavior began to learn about Falun Gong and as a result also started practicing themselves.
(1) “Find more Falun Gong Practitioners for me!”
I am a practitioner from Zibo City, Shandong Province and work in a team of two in a private factory. Because of the heavy workload, if one person works less, the other has to work more, so there are always conflicts among the workers. No one is willing to work more.
After I joined, I was assigned to be paired with a person who everyone thought was cunning. I didn’t care, but always took the initiative to work more without complaint. As time passed, the person I partnered with began feeling embarrassed for being so cunning. Later on a novice joined, and no one wanted to work with him. I requested to work with him. I worked more to allow him to adjust gradually. I took the initiative to teach him and help him with what he didn’t know.
When it came time to regroup, everyone wanted to be my partner. The manager said, “Look at him - hard-working, no complaints, everyone wants to be with him.” I told them, “I was a calculating person in the past. I have changed since I began practicing Falun Gong. My Master teaches us to be kind people who conduct themselves according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to consider others first, and to be unselfish putting others first. Falun Gong changed me.” After hearing this the manager said, “Then find more Falun Gong practitioners for me!”
(2) “Falun Gong practitioners are so peaceful”
My dad was heavily brainwashed by the Chinese Communist Party. He was a typical atheist. I thought of many ways to help him understand that Falun Gong is good and that it was the Party that did evil for many years. However, whenever I mentioned the current government or the wicked Party, he was super-sensitive.
However, I never gave up trying to let him know the truth. I gradually eliminated my own shortcomings. For example, I had a strong fighting mentality when clarifying the truth to him. I didn’t have enough patience. I gradually found that my dad came to accept the truth.
Over the 2011 Chinese New Year I gave him the DVD of “We Tell the Truth to the Future” and recommended it to him. He watched it for several days. One morning he said to my brother, “Those people who practice Falun Gong have suffered persecution. Still, they talk in such a peaceful way.” Then he turned to me, “Where are the DVD's of Master’s lectures?” Just like this, he became acquainted with the Fa.
(3) A police station deputy head like this!
One deputy head of a police station in our district usually reads Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Knowing the truth, he always treats Falun Gong practitioners kindly.
One time, when the Domestic Security Team decided to put an older Falun Gong practitioner into a labor camp, this police officer spoke with the team leader, “What law is she violating as a Falun Gong practitioner? She is such an old woman.” He pleaded for her release, but that team leader refused. He became very angry.
One morning last winter, this officer saw an older woman practitioner distributing truth-clarifying materials on the way to work. He went to tell her right away, “Go away quickly! The police are about to come to work.” The lady quickly left.
A Falun Gong practitioner wrote a truth-clarifying letter and addressed it to him. After reading it he told the practitioner, “If you don’t address it to me, I can show it to my co-workers as a public letter. But with my name on it, it is a private letter, and it is not good to show others.”
(4) “We don’t participate in the program that celebrates the Party's birthday”
There have been many class reunions over the past years. I took these gatherings as opportunities to clarify the truth and urge everyone to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party.
One classmate from another province is a manager of a senior choir. He knows that Falun Gong is good and has suffered under the persecution. He also knows that the Party has harmed its people miserably and that social morality is sliding down, and people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are still persecuted. So, the choir he managed stayed away from all songs that praised the Party.
Someone invited them to participate in a theatrical performance last July 1. He said, “We don’t participate in performances that celebrate the Party's birthday.”
He began practicing Dafa as well.
