1. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Arrested
Many Wendeng City practitioners were arrested on May 12, 2011, including Ms. Zhang Yingmiao, Ms. Ju Chuancui, Mr. Zhou Chengqing, Mr. Tian Shihong, and Mr. Xu Yingguang. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Ju were sent to the Wangcun Brainwashing Center. Mr. Zhou was released at 10:00 p.m. due to illness.

3. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Puchihe Village Practitioners Arrested by Zhunhua City Police and 610 Office Agents
Agents from the Zunhua City Police Department, from the 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and the Xiliucun Town Police Station arrested several practitioners from Puchihe Village on May 12, 2011, and ransacked their homes. Mr. Yan Fuxiang and his wife were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center.
The agents ransacked Mr. Sun Lin's home and confiscated Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. They attempted to arrest Mr. Sun but did not succeed due to his family's resistance.
The agents also ransacked the home of Mr. Yin Pu.
4. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Many Practitioners Including Ms. Zhou Liqin Arrested and Their Homes Ransacked
About ten Qixia District practitioners in Nanjing City were studying the Fa at Ms. Zhou Liqin's home on May 15, 2011. Agents from the local 610 Office and the Yanlu Police Station surrounded Ms. Zhou's home at 5:10 p.m. and arrested these practitioners. They released five of them on the morning of May 16 but detained the rest. Three of the women were taken to the Nanjing Detention Center.
Ms. Zhou Liqin, 46, was arrested many times and persecuted by
the 610 Office in the past.
Ms. Peng Guihua is 45 years old.
Mr. Sun Genluo and Ms. Zhang Xiuhua, his wife, are retired. Mr. Sun
was sent to a detention center.
Mr. Li Yuanneng was sent to a brainwashing center.
The homes of all five practitioners were ransacked. Agents confiscated a computer and a printer and other items from Ms. Zhang's home.
5. [Chongqing] Ms. Xia Jiesheng Arrested, and Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Xia Jiesheng, in her 60s, is from the Tanzishi Community in the Nanan District. About ten agents from Nanan District Government and 610 Office went to her home and arrested her. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Wang Xia
Plainclothes police agents arrested Huadu District practitioner Ms. Wang Xia on the morning of May 6 when she returned home from grocery shopping. They are currently detaining her in the Zixiashanzhuang Community in Timian Town and assigned more than ten people to monitor her. Her mother-in-law was saddened following Ms. Wang's arrest and died within the week.

7. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Chenzhou 610 Office Launches Brainwashing Center to Torture Practitioners
As of May 5, 2011, Chenzhou City 610 Officials established a brainwashing center inside the Beihu District Party School to persecute practitioners. Many practitioners are already there, including Ms. Li Guanghui (Chenzhou City), Ms. Kuang Fengwen, Mr. Rao Jinhan, Ms. Li Jinbao (Guiyang County), and Hu Yulan (Jiahe County).

8. [Chongqing] Shuanglong Police Harassed Ms. Wang Xiaoxia and Mr. Chen Mingxi
Ding Jiuhui (Shuanglong Police Station) and Liu (Residential Committee) harassed Ms. Wang Xiaoxia and Mr. Chen Mingxi, who live on Longqing Street, on the evening of May 16 at home. They ordered Ms. Wang to go with them, but she refused. Because of that, they ordered more than ten people, including Wu Yongdong from the Domestic Security Division, to ransack Ms. Wang's home. They searched from 9:00 p.m. until midnight, but did not find anything incriminating.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guan Yuan and His Wife Persecuted
Mr. Guan Yuan and his wife, both about 70, live in the Huanggu District. Agents from the Huanggu District 610 Office and the Lingdong Police Station ransacked their home on May 13. The agents confiscated a computer, a printer, and a DVD burner. Officials released the couple that same day.

11. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin City] The Persecution of Mr. Chen Sifeng and His Family
Zhu Jun and other agents from the local 610 Office attempted to lure Mr. Chen Sifeng to a brainwashing center on May 2, but he refused to comply. Agents then attempted to arrest him, but his family and neighbors stopped them. The officials then called for special armed police assistance. Mr. Chen was able to escape. Agents attempted to arrest his wife but did not succeed.
Police agents including Zhu Jun went to Mr. Chen's home again on the evening on May 16. They broke the window and entered. Mr. Chen took up farm tools to resist. The agents left the house; when Mr. Chen's wife, Ms. Huang Shuqin, followed them to the window, they arrested her. Mr. Chen held a kitchen knife and did not cooperate. The intruders confiscated a picture of Falun Gong's founder and left.
12. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yumei Arrested and Detained
Officials arrested Jianping County practitioner Ms. Li Yumei when she was distributing truth-clarification materials on the morning of May 15. She is currently held at the county detention center.

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cong Rixu and Attorney Mr. Wang Yonghang Still Detained
Mr. Cong Rixu was transferred from Division 4 to Division 1 after 2-1/2 years of incarceration in Nanguanling Prison.
Ganjingzi Court officials in Dalian City sentenced him to three years of imprisonment. His attorney, Mr. Wang Yonghang, was arrested for defending for Mr. Cong. Mr. Wang was sentenced to seven years and is currently in the Shenyang First Prison.

14. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Many Practitioners Tortured at Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center
Many Leshan City practitioners have been arrested since April and were taken to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center. They include Ms. Wang Yuanrong, Mr. Jian Da, Ms. Zhu Suyun, Ms. Li Tianfang, Ms. Liu Ying, Ms. Zhuo Huaru, Ms. Wang Shanzhu, Mr. Lei Song, Mr. Huang Yiqiu, and Mr. Tang Zhongqin.

15. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Tan Aiju Arrested
Ms. Tan Aiju was arrested at home on the morning of May 17, 2011. Her home was ransacked, and personal belongings were taken away.

17. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Gu Liqing
Ms. Gu Liqing, 62, is retired from the City Bus and Transportation Authority. Police followed her when she was posting truth-clarification posters in Nieer Square at 7:00 a.m. on May 12. They took her to the Wangxinglu Police Station and interrogated her for three hours.

18. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Update Regarding What Happened to Mr. Wang Jinrong and Mr. Wang Jinzeng
Mr. Wang Jinrong and Mr. Wang Jinzeng were arrested on May 12 when they were preparing truth-clarification materials. Mr. Wang Jinrong's blood pressure was very high on May 14 due to the persecution. To shirk responsibilities, police officials released him after extorting 13,000 yuan from his family. Mr. Wang Jinzeng is still at the Daming County Detention Center.
19. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Shulian, 64, Arrested at Home on the Evening of May 16 and Taken to the Qitun Detention Center in Huludao City
20. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Qingxiu Arrested and Detained
Four plainclothes police agents arrested 65-year-old Tongnan County practitioner Ms. Tang Qingxiu on the morning of April 29 when she clarified the truth at a local farmers market. Agents ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and a picture of Falun Gong's founder. Ms. Tang is currently being held at a detention center.
21. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Jianguo and Ms. Gao Ruizhen, His Wife, Arrested
The Mr. Li Jianguo (North Railway) and his wife, Ms. Gao Ruizhen, (Houdouhe Village in the Kaiping District) clarified the truth at the Wangqian Village Farmers Market, Zhengzhuangzi Town, on the morning of May 16, 2011. Officers arrested and sent them to the Zhengzhuangzi Town Police Station. Agents took keys from Mr. Li Jianguo, intruded into his home and confiscated personal belongings including a computer, a printer, an ID-card, and truth-clarification materials.
The persecutors took these three practitioners to the Kaiping Police Department in the evening and forced them to be fingerprinted and photographed. Officials released Ms. Gao at 8:00 p.m. that day and sent the Mr. Li Jianguo couple to the Tangshan City Detention Center.
22. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Benran’s Whereabouts Unknown
Jiangbei District practitioner Mr. Li Benran went to the Guanyinqiao Community to clarify the truth on the morning of May 16. He has been missing since. His whereabouts are unknown.
23. [Xianyang City, Shanxi Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Li Xiaoli
Ms. Li Xiaoli, in her 50s, went to Dongnanfangxin Village to distribute truth-clarification DVDs on the morning of May 8. Yao Jianjun (village Party secretary) and Liu Zhun (village head) took her to the village committee. They contacted the police, who took Ms. Li to the Lianmeng Police Station and later sent her to the Qindu District Detention Center. Ms. Li’s husband and children work in other cities. Her mother, already in her 80s, is now on her own.
Ms. Li was a prisoner at the Xian Women’s Forced Labor Camp for a term of three years, beginning in 2006. When she visited Longxi County in Gansu Province in 2009 and clarified the truth there she was arrested and detained for 15 days.

24. [Hebei Province] Ms. Wan Hongxia Sent to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Hongxia, employed at the Qianfeng Machinery Factory in Langfang City, was arrested on the evening of May 12. She has been sent to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.
25. [Yanzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Fengbao Facing Mistreatment and Abuse
610 Office officials from the Yanzhou City Political and Judicial Bureau are planning to send Mr. Zhang Fengbao to a brainwashing center. His wife, Ms. Wei Maoxia, was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment; his son, Mr. Zhang Chao, was sentenced to four years of imprisonment. His daughter-in-law, Jiang Haiyan, was forced to divorce Mr. Zhang Chao.
26. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Gu Liqing Arrested Again
Ms. Gu Liqing, 57, is retired from the Yuxi City Bus Authority. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in 2006. Officials reduced her pension by 50 0.000000ollowing her release.
When Ms. Gu lived at her daughter's place, Panlong District Domestic Security agents broke in through the door, ransacked the home, and arrested Ms. Gu.
