(Clearwisdom.net) It was sunny on April 30 in Atlanta. More than one hundred groups participated in the Inman Park Festival parade in the afternoon. The local Falun Gong entry was the one of the few Asian groups in the parade.
The Inman Park community was founded late in the 19th century. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful communities in Atlanta, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The festival is held on the last weekend of April, drawing large crowds every year.
The Falun Gong parade entry, with its peaceful music and colorful banners and costumes brought traditional Chinese culture to the community and was warmly welcomed by the spectators.
Many spectators asked what Falun Gong is, and asked for more information. A local Falun Gong practitioner said that they are happy to contribute to the community by providing some Chinese culture. They plan to participate in this festival every year and continue to share the beauty of Falun Gong with the public.
