(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Luo Kaibi from Bishan County, Chongqing was arrested by the Chinese police in late May 2009, and was then sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. The following is Ms. Luo's account of the persecution that she has suffered.
I am Luo Kaibi and I live in Dingjia Township, Bishan County, Chongqing. On May 28, 2009, during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, some students came to my house to get eggs in the yard. I talked to them about Falun Gong and gave them CD's of the Shen Yun Performing Arts show and asked them to watch it after they returned home. However, they took the CD to the police station and reported me. Police officers took me away from my home on May 28, 2009, and I was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.
I was taken to a forced labor camp on July 2, 2009. The guards threw away my blanket, clothing, and household supplies that I brought, and forced me to wear the dirty clothes of other criminals. Every day at the camp, guards tried to force practitioners to write reports that slandered Master and Dafa. If the practitioners didn't cooperate, the guards beat them. The practitioners were also forced to perform manual labor. If they didn't finish their tasks, they had to write reports. In addition, practitioners were deprived of sleep, forced to stand facing a wall for long periods of time, and were not allowed to bend their legs. Usually, people who monitored practitioners had enough to eat, but the practitioners did not get enough food. If practitioners didn't cooperate or finish their tasks, the guards forced them to stand and squat facing a wall, and stuffed a dirty cloth into their mouths as a penalty, etc.
The guards at the labor camp also forced practitioners to watch the "Jingang Scripture," and things with which Wang Zhigang slandered Dafa and Master. They also invited people who taught qigong and tried to force practitioners to learn it.
Personnel from Dingjia Township brought me back on November 26, 2010, and I returned home on November 30. The director of the town government took me to the Bishan County Police Department, threatened me, and didn't allow me to go back home to practice Falun Gong. This is some of what I have experienced at the forced labor camp.
