(Clearwisdom.net) From May 19 to June 9, 2011, the “Art of Truth, Compassion, Tolerance” Exhibition was held in Matisse Hall in St. Petersburg, Russia. The exhibition was a part of an ongoing tour of this exhibition throughout Russia. Recent exhibitions of the tour have been in Moscow and cities in Siberia, Volga and the Caucasus area.

This exhibition featured artworks by 20 artists. The paintings demonstrated the beauty of Falun Dafa and exposed the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the persecution of Falun Gong.
The exhibition was held two months later than its scheduled date. The original hall was owned by the Russian government. Due to pressure from the CCP, the St. Petersburg city government denied the lease of the hall to the exhibition host. After two months of efforts, local Falun Gong practitioners successfully held the 20-day exhibition in Matisse Hall near the Chinese Consulate.
During the exhibition, many visitors were touched and shared their impressions after viewing the paintings. Many also left messages in the guest book.
Wagnov, an undergraduate student in a dance institute, wrote, “This art exhibition makes me pause from my busy life to think deeply. Its energy is huge!”
The Ivanov couple wrote, “We appreciate the organizers of this exhibition. It not only informs us of the things occurring in this world, but encourages people to be confident and believe that great compassionate power will prevail over evil.”
On closing day, even as the paintings were being taken down at the end, there were still visitors returning to view the paintings once again and bringing others who hadn't yet seen them.
