(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners from Germany held a Falun Dafa Information Day in Freiburg im Breisgau on June 18, 2011, to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong to the public.
Signing the petition
Practitioners set up display boards and handed out truth-clarifying materials. Many people stopped by, talked with practitioners, and signed the petition, expressing their support for Falun Gong.
Ms. Hoffman had heard about the persecution but never about the organ harvesting. She strongly condemned it and signed her name on the petition. A German gentleman talked to practitioners for a long time. He said, “Although I don't know too much about Falun Gong, the persecution is definitely evil and should be stopped.” He took many brochures and said that he would like to learn more about Falun Gong.
Freiburg is a tourist town, attracting numerous tourists from around the world. A sociology professor from Indonesia talked to a practitioner. He knew that Falun Gong was practiced in many countries and that only in China is it banned. He said that many Indonesians practice it. He believed that the Chinese Communist Party launched the persecution for its own political purposes and that Falun Gong didn't do anything wrong. He also talked about the human right violations in China. He asked for some detailed information on Falun Gong, and wished practitioners great success.
Many Chinese tourists visited the booth, including some Chinese students. Some had already quit the Chinese Communist Party, and some did so at the booth.
A Chinese doctor, who is visiting Germany, told practitioners, “I saw you on the bus, so I got off just to talk to you. I know you have been clarifying the facts, so I want to see if you have any truth-clarifying materials that I haven't seen. Very few people care about the true facts in China now. Most people only care about money, especially the government officials.” He believes that the Chinese government will crash, and it will happen soon.
He said that both he and his wife have already quit the Chinese Communist Party. When practitioners asked him to convince his children to the quit, too, he said, “I know you are doing this for other people's good. I will definitely try to convince my kids.”
