(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in five provinces. In this report, nine Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Further Information on Mr. Yan Shoulin and His Family Persecuted by Dalian City Police
On the morning of June 29, 2011, when Mr. Yan Shoulin and his wife Ms. Yang Chunmei from Dengshahe Town, Jinzhou District, Dalian, opened the door of their home and were about to take their child to school, around a dozen officers from Dengshahe Town Police Station rushed in, put them both in handcuffs, and illegally arrested them. In the process, they brought Ms. Yang Chunmei to the ground and put a black mask on Mr. Yan Shoulin. Their child, an elementary school student, was also taken to the police station. Their home was ransacked, and two computers and some Falun Gong books were confiscated. Their child was released the same day but had to stay at their neighbor's because officers had locked the family home.
On the afternoon of June 29, three officers physically harassed Mr. Yan Shoulin's father. Mr. Yan and his wife's whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jin Xin and Others Arrested
Mr. Jin Xin, Ms. Cao Yanhua and Ms. Sun Liying from Jincheng were arrested near Shishan Town by Linghai Public Security Bureau deputy director Wang Jingshan and two patrolling officers on the evening of June 29, 2011. They are now being held at the Linghai Public Security Bureau Domestic Security Division.

Three officers, including Liu Zhanjun, took Ms. Yuan Xiuqing to Leshan Town Police Station and ransacked her home on the morning of June 21, 2011. Ms. Yuan later developed symptoms of a severe illness and was released.
Bi Jingli from the Leshan Town Government 610 Office and Leshan Town Police Station director Li Xiaobo barged into Ms. Yuan Xiuqing's home again on the morning of June 30, 2011. Ms. Yuan has no choice now but to move from place to place to avoid further persecution.

Officers from the Jilin Public Security Bureau and officers from Shijinggou Police Station in Fengman District, Jilin arrested Ms. Zhang Shuyan at her hair salon on the afternoon of June 30, 2011. Ms. Zhang is now being held at Shijinggou Police Station.

9. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhao Qingyuan Arrested by Officers from Beigang Town Police Station
Director Guo Shisheng and other officers from Beigang Town Police Station in Baishan arrested Mr. Zhao Qingyuan and ransacked his home on the afternoon of June 30, 2011. They took three Falun Gong books and a photo of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong. Mr. Zhao is now being held in the Fusong County Detention Center.

Approximately eight officers from the Xinji Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Liu Haiqiang at his home in Dongzhangkou Village, Tianjiazhuang Township on June 29, 2011. Mr. Liu is now being held at the Domestic Security Division.
13. [Qingan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Leijun Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Domestic security division director Wang Xingyuan deceived Ms. Sun Leijun from Qingan County into going to the Public Security Bureau on June 10, 2011, and arrested her there. Three days later, Ms. Sun was sent to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term.
14. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Meng Lihui Arrested by Officers from the Domestic Security Division
Led by Tian Xinjun, a dozen officers from the Fengnan District Domestic Security Division in Tangshan arrested Mr. Meng Lihui at his home in Beiling Village, Daodi Town on May 31, 2011, and took his computer. Mr. Meng was released on June 10, 2011.

Mr. Hu Shusheng from Lutai Farm in Tangshan is in his fifties. He was arrested by local officers on June 26, 2011 and forced to give blood for analysis.
16. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Qingzhong Still Held in Linyi City Detention Center
Mr. Wang Qingzhong, 54, is a chairman of New Tianli Mechanical Ltd. in Linyi City and president of Liyi Normal University Mechanical Research Institute. He was arrested for a third time on September 26, 2010, and has been held for over nine months. Mr. Wang is still being held in the Linyi Detention Center.

17. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Fengying Persecuted at Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Yang Fengying went to Beijing in January 2011 to appeal for Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from Zhanqian Police Station as soon as she got off the train. Later an officer from Xinbin Police Station Beijing Office claimed her from Zhanqian Police Station and sent her directly to the Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp in Fushun City for a two-year term. After being persecuted there for several months, Ms. Yang is suffering from neurological pain in her legs.
Ms. Yang had previously gone to Beijing to appeal in September 1999, and was taken to the Representative Office in Beijing. The over 500 yuan in cash she brought with her was taken. An officer from Xinbin Police Station Beijing Office claimed her the next day and took her back to Xinbin. She was held in Xinbin Detention Center and later taken to a brainwashing center at Zhangdang Electrical Factory in Fushun. Mr. Yang was released one month later, after her family was extorted of 7,000 yuan and signed a guarantee statement on her behalf promising not to study or practice Falun Gong in the future.

18. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lian Yue and Three Others Arrested
Ms. Lian Yue, Ms. Wang Wenzhi, Ms. Sun Shuqing and her sister Ms. Sun Shuzhen from Xinbin Town, Xinbin County were arrested by local officers when they were studying the book Zhuan Falun together. They were released after each of their families was extorted of 5,000 yuan. They are now moving from place to place to avoid persecution.

19. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Yujie Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Yujie from Zhongfang County, Huaihua was arrested after she had just left her home, on the morning of May 20, 2011. She was taken to the Huaihua Brainwashing Center and was released on bail on May 28, 2011. While at home, she was still constantly harassed by staff from her workplace and agents from the local 610 Office.
