(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Shi Yingchuna was arrested and sent to the First Squad, Eighth Prison District of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. In prison, she refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, so the prison guards ordered eight prisoners to beat her. The beatings lasted from the night of March 27, 2010 until the following morning. She was then sent to the hospital, where she later died.

Practitioner Shi Yingchun

Ms. Shi firmly persisted in her belief in Falun Dafa and did not cooperate with any of the persecutors' orders. Therefore, the prison guards found many ways to torture her. When she refused to wear the prison uniform one time, squad captain Li Dan ordered prisoners to take off all of her clothing. She was then forced to lie on the ground naked for a long period of time. She did not give up even under such intense persecution, which made the guards torture her even more frequently.

On March 17, 2010, Ms. Shi was working in the jail factory. Liu Yili, the production division director, came to pick on her. Liu ordered warden Gao Feng to mercilessly beat her during the night. After Ms. Shi's work shift was over, Gao Feng, Yao Yuanyuan, Wang Xiujuan, Fang Lili, and others went to Ms. Shi's cell and brutally beat her. They took Ms. Shi to the water room afterward and tortured her for more than four hours. Ms. Shi died from this torture.

In an effort to cover up the incident, after the morning work shift, the prison guards called together everyone in Ms. Shi's cell block and threatened them, while ordering them to not tell anyone about what happened.
