(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Weichuang, the owner of Quanmei Salon located in Songhuajing in the Huanggu District of Shenyang City, was arrested on April 21, 2011, by the Lingdong Police Station of Huanggu District Public Security Subdivision. The deputy director of the station, Liu Haitao, trumped up charges against Mr. Wang and had him sentenced to forced labor for one year and three months just because Mr. Wang is a Falun Gong practitioner. Lingdong Police Station committed this crime in the pursuit of benefits and bonuses.
On April 21, 2011, at around 9 a.m., Huang, a police officer from the Huanggu District Public Security Subdivision Security Team, and deputy director Liu Haitao from Lingdong Police Station and his team of Cui Enchun, Song Ruisheng, and Qing were all in plainclothes. They first went to the home of Mr. Wang's sister, who does not practice Falun Gong. They tricked her into opening the door by claiming that they needed to check the gas pipe. They searched her home, took the computer and cellphone, and forced her husband to accompany them to Mr. Wang's shop.
When they arrived, Liu Haitao shouted, “Arrest Wang Weichuang, and take his computer!” Mr. Wang ran out of his salon. They ran after him and knocked him down. Liu Haitao sat on Mr. Wang's chest, making it hard for him to breath. Mr. Wang, now in the correctional facility, still has chest pain and fever. As he got up, Mr. Wang shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” There were many bystanders, and his neighbors and friends were outraged by what they saw.
After raiding the salon, the police raided his home. They took his cellphone and his Falun Dafa books. They broke into the room of his sister, who lives with him, and damaged the door. During the entire process, they hurled threats at his wife and relatives. Without permission, the police drove his sister's car and caused a traffic incident. They arrested Mr. Wang's wife, his sister, and her husband. His wife was released late that afternoon. His sister and her husband were released an hour later.
Mr. Wang is kind and down to earth. His neighbors and customers have only praise for him: “What a wonderful young man!” He has been persecuted numerous times due to practicing Falun Gong.
Back on November 22, 2005, Mr. Wang Weichuang and another practitioner, Yu Jingquan, were arrested by the Shenyang Heping District National Security Team and transferred to the Shenyang Zhangshi Brainwashing facility, where they were interrogated that night.
Mr. Wang was hung up and brutally beaten. He was deprived of sleep and tortured for three days in an attempt to find out the source of a banner and how it was made. Mr. Wang then began a hunger strike. The torture left him with two deep scars around his wrist and a scar on the right side of his face. The guard used a shoe to slap his face repeatedly, which made him dizzy at times. Due to this torture, he was not able to work for a long time.

During that period, the Heping District National Security Team had plainclothes police officers monitor Mr. Wang's salon and his home. They also arrested his fiance and his two sisters and took them to the Longjiang Police Station. They threatened and followed them when they went out to eat or shopping to intimidate them. One officer from the Heping National Security Team stated shamelessly, “We do not care about the consequences; we just follow orders.” Mr. Wang's mother, who has been paralyzed for years, lost her vision when she learned that her beloved son had been arrested and tortured. When he was released, the guards from the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center extorted another 1000 yuan from his family. After 2001, Mr. Wang Weichuang was sentenced to forced labor for three years. The Heping District National Security Team has done great damage to Mr. Wang and his family, both mentally and physically.
We warn all those who still participate in the persecution that all the orders you carry out in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners are violations of the law and the Constitution. All the crimes you have committed are being recorded. When the time comes, none of you will escape justice.
