(Clearwisdom.net) I am veteran practitioner and started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1997. During my rocky cultivation path over the past ten-plus years, compassionate Master has always protected and encouraged me. Today I would like to tell everyone around the world about the miraculous wonders of Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa is truly great!
I. Master Is Right Next to Me
From the time I was very young, my physical health was poor. When my legs were in pain, I had to walk while holding on to the wall. I suffered from multiple diseases, including coronary heart disease and neurasthenia. Fortunately, in 1997, I started Falun Dafa cultivation practice. After I began to practice, my diseases miraculously disappeared.
A miracle happened on the night that I obtained the Fa. I stood in front of Master's picture and did the second Falun Dafa exercise. I felt a big ball under my right foot, touching the center of my foot. I felt uncomfortable, so I lifted my foot and took a look, but nothing was there. It still felt uncomfortable, but I managed to finish the four positions of the exercise. My right leg became swollen and numb, and I could not move it easily. As I rested on the bed, I saw a young man in a black suit. He stood in front of my bed and used both of his hands to stretch and massage my right leg. He said, “Your leg is fine, you are not ill.” Then he disappeared and my dream ended. Two days later, I started to watch Master's lecture and was shocked upon seeing Master on TV. I realized that Master had been the man in my dream who fixed my leg.”
Master said,
“As a genuine practitioner, however, you cannot practice cultivation with an ill body. I will purify your body. The body purification will be done only for those who come to truly learn the practice and the Fa.” (Zhuan Falun)
When I had just begun to practice Falun Dafa, Master had already purified my body. I have since been free of illness.
Master said,
“But although you can’t see me in person, as long as you practice cultivation, I’m actually right by your side. And as long as you practice cultivation, I can be responsible for you all the way to the end; what’s more, I’m looking after you every single moment.” (Lectures in the United States, “Teaching the Fa in New York City”)
II. Flying and Rotating Falun
After I started to practice, I told people around me about the wonders of Falun Dafa. I felt that if I wanted to offer something precious to people, nothing was better than telling them that Falun Dafa is good, because knowing this is beneficial for one's life and something that money cannot buy. Soon, we formed a practice and Fa study site. My life became full.
While studying the Fa at the practice site one night, I saw many colorful Falun slowly turning and flying in front of the door of our practice site. It was very beautiful. This further strengthened my confidence in cultivation and the belief in Master.
III. Righteous Belief and Improving Xinxing Are Essential When Facing Sickness Karma
When cultivators encounter tests, every thought should be based on the Fa, and we should always regard ourselves as cultivators.
One autumn day during the year I started practicing Falun Dafa, I suddenly felt tightness in my chest, and pain on my left side. I realized that it was due to the karma that I had accumulated in my past lives. At that time I didn't treat the problem properly, and wanted to use this as an excuse to rest for a few days to study the Fa at home. I still hadn't recovered after three days. On the fourth day, my father-in-law said, "Your aunt is ill and invited the doctor to come. You can go there and ask the doctor to check you." I said, "I am not ill, and I will recover in a few days." However, the old man insisted that I go, so I went to my aunt's home. I saw my aunt laying on the bed, waiting for the doctor to give her an IV. I suddenly thought, “I am a cultivator. I am not an ordinary person. I am not ill.” I then left my aunt's home. Miraculously, all of the uncomfortable symptoms disappeared.
Master said,
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)
Once my xinxing improved, Master was able to help me.
IV. Going to Beijing to Validate Falun Dafa and Being Protected by Master
On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began slandering Master and Falun Dafa. They lied to the whole world. To appeal for justice for Falun Dafa, three other practitioners and I rode bicycles to Beijing that same night. We were very determined and our minds were very pure. We only wanted to speak out for Falun Dafa and regain justice for Master.
It was a dark night. I was very sleepy while riding the bike, because I had not slept for well over two nights. Suddenly a big truck knocked me down. The truck left quickly. A practitioner in front of me shouted, “Are you OK?” My mind was very clear. I said, “I am a cultivator, I am fine.” I got up quickly. I did not feel any pain at all. The practitioner helped to lift my bike from ground. I took it back and said, as if nothing had happened, “Let's go.” The practitioner said, “Your hand is bleeding.” Then he took out a small handkerchief and tried to wrap the wound. I said, “That isn't necessary, since it is not painful at all.” He insisted on wrapping the wound. We then continued our journey. The bike felt light and fast, as if someone was pushing it from behind. I recited Master's “Benevolent Might” from Hong Yin.
We continued to travel after dawn, and then the practitioner said, “Let's take a break and take a look at your hand.” My hand had only a small bruise at the joint of the little finger, while my whole right arm was covered by blue paint. The right site of my bike was also full of blue paint. The practitioner said, “The sound was so loud, and your arm and the bike have so much paint. If Master had not protected you, I would not be able to face your family.” I said, “Master protected me.” I sincerely thanked Master.
We continued to travel. The practitioner said, “I am not familiar with this road.” I said, “Let's just go north.” Something miraculous then happened again. A car drove from the opposite direction from us and a “National Road and Rail Map” was thrown out of the window. It contained maps of all the cities in China. Master was indeed protecting us all the time. Knowing that we were lost, he had someone deliver the map to us. Master is with us all the time.
We followed the map and continued traveling. When it became dark again, we hurried up and arrived outside the Beijing Moat. A practitioner said, “Look, there are lights and signs saying 'to Beijing.' There are several people around. Maybe this is a check point. Let's take a detour.” Thus, we left the road and took a trail. We passed a village and came to the bank of the moat, where we rested for a while. Right after dawn, we continued traveling north. A fork in the road was in front of us, and we didn't know which way would lead to Beijing. We looked around and wanted to ask someone, but it was very early in the morning and there were no pedestrians around. Suddenly we heard some people talking at the end of a field. We went to ask, and they gave us directions. We followed the directions and entered a village. Right after entering the village, we planned to buy some food. Before we settled down, we heard someone say, “Get onto the bus if you want to go to Beijing.” We left our bikes behind and got on the bus to Beijing. The process was so smooth. We knew that compassionate Master was protecting us all the way!
We successfully arrived in Beijing and went to Tiananmen Square. There were plainclothes police everywhere. Many police cars drove by with formidable sounds. Practitioners were ruthlessly taken away in several cars. This was no place for good people to appeal. We endured much difficulty to travel to Beijing because we naively thought that our government would listen to good people. However, there we saw the reality. Unarmed good people were being brutally repressed.
V. Having Righteous Thoughts and Actions and Being Protected by Master
Seeing such a great practice being slandered and suppressed by the CCP, I wrote a long letter to our local government appeals office, using my citizen's right granted by the Constitution, to report the true situation to the government. I described my personal cultivation experience and told them about the greatness of cultivating Falun Dafa, and that Falun Dafa teaches one to be compassionate and morally upright. My tone was sincere and my heart was pure. I signed the letter with my true name and address, and I did not get into any trouble.
One of my relatives is a practitioner. She also wrote a letter to clarify the truth to the authorities. She didn't use her real name, but was discovered by police and illegally arrested. She was detained at the township police station for two days. At that time she was still breast-feeding an infant. Her family paid several hundred yuan in fines to the police station to get her out so that she could feed the baby. At that time, my younger brother said, “You will be next. It is so easy to find you, since you used your real name.”
At that time I held a very compassionate and truthful heart and believed in Master's words,
“... just by having your heart unaffected you will be able to handle all situations.” (“Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Master has protected me every time.
VI. Hitting a Thick Poplar Tree and Sustaining No Injuries
In 2001, Master published the lecture on sending forth righteous thoughts. Several practitioners shared the understanding that Master's Fa-rectification verses can shock and eliminate the evil. We created many signs with these verses, as well as with “Falun Dafa is good! Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
After dinner, we divided into groups of two and started to paste these signs to poplar trees and
poles along the road. There was a gutter next to the road that was about one meter deep, and the big poplar trees grew in the gutter. I stood on the road and leaned forward to apply glue to a big poplar tree and then got one of our signs from the other practitioner and attached it to the tree. I was not sure if it was glued well, so I used both of my hands to press on it. While doing this I lost my balance and fell into the tree, and then into the gutter. The other practitioner got me out, patted away dirt from me and asked, “Are you all right?” I suddenly felt pain in my chest. Another group of practitioners also came over to check on me. I said, “I am a practitioner. There is no problem. Let's go and continue.” Compassionate Master protected me once again.
Dear Master, whenever I encounter hardship, You always watch over me and dissolve the hardship. I am so grateful, and I can only return Your compassion with diligent cultivation.
VII. Righteous Thoughts Are Mighty Powerful
In the winter of 2002, when another practitioner and I were posting truth-clarification signs on the roadside, we were working along the road under dim moonlight. When we had just finished posting a sign on a transformer and planned to post another on a pole on the opposite side of the road, we noticed two agents patrolling on bicycles about ten meters away from us. (They had been appointed by the township to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners.) We immediately hid in a small pear tree forest on the roadside. The two people shouted, “What are you doing? Stop!” Then they followed us. I said, “Send forth righteous thoughts. The evil cannot see us.” We quickly passed several rows of trees, squatted down, and used our righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil factors, dark minions, and rotten demons that persecute practitioners. I saw that the two people got into the forest and went in the other direction. As they walked, one of them said, “Why did they disappear? I saw them coming here. It is so absurd.”
Master said,
“I have asked disciples to send forth righteous thoughts, because those so-called evil beings are in fact nothing.” (“The Effect of Righteous Thoughts” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Master protected us again, and Dafa created another miracle. Indeed, righteous thoughts demonstrate mighty power.
VIII. Master Has Always Enlightened and Protected Me
In the fall of 2010, one day right after I returned home from Fa-study, my husband said, “Tomorrow you should buy a new thermos. The one we have now leaks.” I asked, “Did you break it?” He said he didn't do anything. The water just leaked all over the floor. I checked it, but could not find anything broken. I suddenly felt upset in my heart and thought, “There are problems in my cultivation, and this is a hint from Master.”
I immediately looked inward and found many attachments, including selfishness, attachment to money, greed, laziness, etc. I realized that when I had sold pears, I added some small pears to the package to increase the weight. How could this be worthy of a Falun Dafa practitioner? Master asked us to be selfless and to always consider others first. However, for temporary benefits, I did something that was the opposite of that. I was not following Master's words. I must get rid of these human attachments and always remember that I am a practitioner, and keep upgrading my xinxing. I should base my behavior on the Fa.
After realizing this, I filled the thermos with water. After I got up the next morning, I found that the water had not leaked out at all. To this day the thermos has not leaked again.
The divine beings know everything on our minds. If any of our actions deviate from the Fa, Master will quickly remind us. Master indeed cherishes us more than we cherish ourselves.
