(Clearwisdom.net) On June 21, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners Liu Xiaoguang, Liu Jingze, Sui Zhaohong, Lu Chunrong, and Xie Yanchun from Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, were arrested by the Shenzhen 610 Office. Mr. Liu Xiaoguang is still missing.
Mr. Liu Xiaoguang, originally from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, was born on November 12, 1978. Around 7 a.m. on June 21, 2011 he was arrested while he was in front of the building where Mr. Liu Jingze lives. The police took Mr. Liu Xiaoguang away in his car, but no one knows where he is now. The officers threatened that they would arrest anyone that asks where he is. Mr. Liu Xiaoguang is the only child in his family and has no relatives in Shenzhen, so it is unlikely that his parents have been notified that he is missing.
Mr. Liu Jingze, originally from Siping, Jilin Province, was born on January 28, 1973. He was arrested at the same time as Mr. Liu Xiaoguang. The police officers ransacked his home and took away a collection of Falun Gong books and more than 200 DVDs. He is now in Meilin Detention Center in Shenzhen. His elder brother, Mr. Liu Kai, was arrested with him. The police could not find any evidence against Mr. Liu Kai, so they released him the next day. Mr. Liu Jingze has two daughters: the older one is in college and in need of financial support while the younger one is still an infant. His wife has no job. The whole family is heavily dependent on him and having a difficult time without his income.
Mr. Sui Zhaohong, originally from Changchun, Jilin Province, was living and working Shenzhen at the time of his arrest. His wife and his young child now have no means of support.
Mr. Lu Chunrong, originally from Nanning, Guangxi Province, was also arrested that same day while at home. His home was ransacked by police officers and he was arrested. He has been held in Buji Detention Center in Shenzhen ever since. He is the mainstay of his family and supported a big family, including two elderly parents, a six or seven-year-old child and his wife, who does not work outside the home. One of his co-workers was also arrested but was released the next day.
Ms. Xie Yanchun was taken away by officers from the Domestic Security Bureau while she was at work on June 20, one day before the other practitioners were arrested.
These arrests were apparently planned some time ago. The authorities monitored the practitioners by listening in on their phone conversations and following them closely. In carrying out the operation, the police disturbed the practitioners' neighbors and had no regard for how their actions impacted their daily lives. Many residents complained that the 610 Office was evil and dreadful.
