1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Hongwei Is Dying in Prison

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongwei is dying in Fengjiatun Prison, Jilin Province, as a result of torture.

2. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Changlong Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Liu Changlong, who is blind, was seized by three people on the evening of July 28, 2011, and his whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Liu Changlong's wife, Ms. Yu Fengying, was taken away by the employees of the Comprehensive Management Office and Hongwei Community Office on June 24, 2011, under instructions from the 610 Office and the Political and Judiciary Committee. Only after Mr. Liu was detained did they release Ms. Yu Fengying.

Ms. Fan Guiying, 59, is a practitioner from Mishan City. She was taken to a brainwashing center by the police. The following day she was transferred to an unknown destination.

4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Shi, an elderly lady from Chaoyang City, was detained in Dalian City and was recently transferred to Fushun Brainwashing Center.

Practitioner Mr. Wen Bin from Lahar Township, Nahe County, was working in Shanxi Province and detained in the evening of July 28, 2011.

6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Additional Information about the detention of Ms. Sun Yuying and Ms. Sun Yingjun

Ms. Sun Yuying and Ms. Sun Yingju from Jilin City were taken to Minzhu Police Station for distributing truth-clarification materials at a food market. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Dafa books, computers, and personal belongings.

The following day the two practitioners were transferred to Xiaobaishan Detention Center.

7. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qu Xiaochun Detained

Ms. Qu Xiaochun, in her thirties, from Dayao Village, Fuzhoucheng Township, Wafangdian City, was detained at her stall in Fuzhoucheng Township Market during the morning of July 29, 2011. The Fuzhoucheng Township Comprehensive Management Office, Fuzhoucheng Township Police Station, and the Political and Security Division of the Wafangdian Police Department transferred her to Dalian City after her detention and ransacked her home.

Ms. Li Shuxiang from Dongsi, Dongcheng District, Beijing, was seized on July 26, 2011, and taken to a brainwashing center.

9. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Zhou Xiaozhen Detained

Ms. Zhou Xiaozhen from Huzhen Township, Jinyun County, was taken to Jinyun County Detention Center on July 5, 2011.

10. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Shulian Detained Again

Ms. Wang Shulian from Wujiazi Village, Jianggezhuang, Leting County, Tangshan City, was reported for clarifying the truth on a bus and was then detained. She was locked up for 15 days before being released on July 9, 2011. She was detained again on July 26 and sentenced to two years of forced labor. Now she is being held in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City.

Officers from the Changchun Road Police Station, Zhaogezhuang, Guzhi District, Tangshan City, forced their way into Ms. Chang Chunhui's work unit at the Zhaogezhuang Alkali Plant, and took her to the Changchun Road Police Station on July 6, 2011. One day later she returned home as a result of her righteous thoughts.

Guzhi Police Sub-department officers detained Ms. Chang once again and took her to Luanxian Detention Center, Tangshan City, on July 20.

Ms. Peng Xiaoyun, Ms. Li Xiaojie, and Ms. Wang Yuchuan, who were being held in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, were transferred to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Li Wei, the Head of the Domestic Division, and his men detained Mr. Chen Jia from Ningde City Detention Center on July 19, 2011. He was was on a hunger strike in the detention center.

Mr. Wang Yongcheng, over 60, is from Jianyang City. Officials from the Jianyang City Political and Judiciary Committee, the 610 Office, and the Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Wang's rented house on Binjiang Road and detained him on the morning of July 22, 2011. They then took him to Er'ehu Brainwashing Center, Ziyang City, and ransacked his home.

16. [Huichun City, Jilin Province] The Forestry Bureau Persecutes Practitioners within the Bureau

The Political and Judiciary Committee of Huichun Forestry Bureau, the Forestry Police Department, in collaboration with Yanji Police Department, detained Ms. Huang Jiazhen, who had gone to the bureau to collect her salary. She was locked up in Yanji on July 26, 2011. The following day the police went to her home in Yanji, broke in, and ransacked it.

The Political and Judiciary Committee of Huichun Forestry Bureau and officials from the Chunhua Forest farm forcefully took employees Mr. Yu Dengkui and Ms. Wang Xiaomin to Yanji Brainwashing Center.

17. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xiao Wenhua and His Wife Ms. Peng Hui Detained

Mr. Xiao Wenhua and his wife, Ms. Peng Hui, from the Fengrun District, Tangshan City, went to Bortala Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, for a tour on July 27, 2011. They were detained by the officers from the Domestic Security Bureau, Jinghe County Police Department.

18. [Yuanping City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Gu Yuqin Detained

Ms. Gu Yuqin, over 60, was detained by plainclothes officers for clarifying the truth when selling flowers in Yuanping City on May 28, 2011. She was taken to Yuanping City Police Department and released after ten days of detention. Ms. Gu was detained again on June 8 and taken to Yuanping City Detention Center. The authorities refused to release her and also did not allow her family to visit her.

19. [Zhoujiakou City, Henan Province] Ms. Ren Xueying Detained

Ms. Ren Xueying, a retired teacher from Zhoukou Normal University, was detained on July 14, 2011, and later transferred to a brainwashing center.

20. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Cao Chunhua and Ms. Zhou Xiaoli Detained

Ms. Cao Chunhua and Zhou Xiaoli from Wuyang Township, Pengshan County, were detained in Jinjiang Township on June 13, 2011, and their homes were ransacked. Ms. Cao and Ms. Zhou have been sentenced to one year of forced labor each.

21. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Ma Zhenyu Detained

Mr. Ma Zhenyun, a former outstanding engineer from Nanjing No. 14 Institute, was detained on his way to work by the officers from the Nanjing City 610 Office, the Nanjing City Domestic Security Division, as well as the Xiaguan District Police Station, on the afternoon of May 26, 2011. Mr. Ma was locked up in the Xiaguan District Detention Center and then sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

Ms. Li Yanhui, Ms. Yu Aihua, and Mr. Zuo Zhongren from Yushu City were taken to Xinglongshan Brainwashing Center in Changchun City on July 26, 2011.

23. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Sui'e and Others Detained

Wang Jianjun, head of the Shahe City Domestic Security Division, and his men went to Caozhang Village, Shiliting Township, and detained 62-year-old Ms. Ren Sui'e. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, and some personal belongings at noon on July 28, 2011.

Wang Jianjun and his men went to Xiajie Village, Shiliting, in the morning on July 12 and detained Ms. Qu Yanling and Mr. Qin Laosi. Mr. Qin managed to escape and then exposed the crimes committed by Wang Jianjun. Wang Jianjun took away Mr. Qin's son, Mr. Qin Haozhi, and attempted to detain Mr. Qin's daughter. The villagers stopped them from taking her away.
