(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, September 17, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners in Dusseldorf participated in the “China Festival” celebrations in the city center, which included dragon dances and other performances. Not only many local Germans, but also many Chinese in Germany came to the event, making it a good chance to reach more people with the truth about Falun Gong.
The festival began at 11:30 am. Falun Gong practitioners passed out fliers, demonstrated the exercises, made paper lotus flowers to give to visitors, and talked to the visitors about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.
Support for Falun Gong
A nicely dressed middle-aged couple read the flier about the Communist regime's crimes of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. “This regime is ridiculous!” the woman said. The man said, “China is extending their power everywhere in the world utilizing its economic strength. Now no country dares to stand up to it. You are doing a righteous thing here. I sincerely hope the situation in China will change, and change soon.”
A visitor from South Korea Mr. Fang Junyan said he empathizes with practitioners and understands what the Communist Party is like. He gladly signed the petition and said, “I wish you success!”
Many people lined up to sign the petition to support Falun Gong.
Demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises draws interest
Beside the booth, a group of practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises. Many people stopped to watch the peaceful exercise movements.
A German woman walked by the site and immediately felt the strong energy field. She said she had practiced Taichi, but she felt the energy from Falun Gong was stronger. She was very interested and planned to learn the exercises.
Chinese people learn the facts and quit the CCP
During the course of the day, more than a dozen Chinese people renounced the CCP and declared their withdrawal Communist Party and its affiliated organizations after learning the facts of the CCP's crimes against the Chinese people.
A Chinese student came to the booth and listened to a practitioner for a long time. The practitioner told her the story of the ancient stone with words “The Chinese Communist Party Is Destroyed,” which many take to be a sign that the heavens will soon destroy the CCP. The Chinese student agreed and asked the practitioner to use an alias to submit her withdrawal from the Youth League, an affiliated organization of the CCP. Afterward, the student said, “Great! Thank you!”
