(Clearwisdom.net) New Tang Dynasty Asia Pacific Television (NTDTV) was officially carried on the Chunghwa-owned ST2 satellite beginning on August 1, 2011, after significant concern and strong support was expressed from around the world. According to data provided by APT Satellite Holdings Limited, it was predicted that, “The viewers will certainly receive stronger NTDTV signals from the Chunghwa-owned ST2 satellite, as long as they can already receive ST1 satellite signals.” However, the actual situation over the past two weeks has not been as good as expected.
Similar experiences have taken place in many areas in mainland China: People who received strong NTDTV in the past have noticed that the current signals are weakened. Some of them were even unable to get the signals. However, the signals of other companies that are carried on the same satellite are of very good quality.
As a TV media, NTDTV plays a significant role in clarifying the truth to the people in mainland China. It is an important channel built through numerous hardships experienced by practitioners, both overseas and in China. How many people can be saved if NTDTV plays a greater role? Master said in “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference,”
“With all of our media and all of the projects that Dafa disciples are doing that are saving people, even if you are giving your all, there is still a massive number of people who can’t be saved.”
From the European satellite company Eutelsat shutting down NTDTV's broadcasts to China to Chunghwa Telecom not renewing its satellite contract with NTDTV to the signals being weakened after NTDTV was carried on the Chunghwa-owned ST2 satellite, there obviously exists interference from the old forces who are afraid of Dafa disciples saving more people and intend to ruin sentient beings. However, Master taught us,
“The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston”)
Therefore, while paying attention to the signal problem and sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the old forces’ interference, we also need to look inward to see if there is something we need to break through or if our hearts of saving sentient beings are not strong enough, regardless of whether we are practitioners working in NTDTV or practitioners who are NTDTV’s viewers and utilize it to clarify the truth.
The communist regime has made every attempt to interfere with and shut down the channels through which we clarify the truth. Take the network media as an example. The regime used all sorts of subterfuge and schemes to shut down practitioners’ network media, but in the end all their efforts failed. Over the years, many practitioners from mainland China have shared on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) how they successfully broke through the communist regime’s Internet blockade with righteous thoughts even though they didn’t understand network technology. Therefore, it is obvious that Dafa disciples’ righteous thoughts play a significant role.
This also gives us confidence. If everyone works diligently to purify his or her state of mind, we can surely eliminate the interference and break through the obstacles created by the old forces. The righteous field we generate will also help practitioners who work on the project overcome any obstacles. The effect of saving sentient beings will be reinforced and revived no matter what superficial method we may use.
