(Clearwisdom.net) When I got married in 1998, my husband and mother-in-law were unhappy with me because I could not get pregnant. They became very abusive towards me and made my life unbearable. I thought about committing suicide and went out to buy some sleeping pills. On my way home from the drug store, I accidentally bumped into an older lady. The pills fell from my hand and scattered all over the ground. Something also fell out of the woman's hands. I rushed to pick it up, only to find it was the book Zhuan Falun.
When the lady saw all the pills on the ground, she seemed rather concerned and asked why I had so many pills. I told her that the drug would help me to sleep. She kindly said, “You can take this book home to read. It will help with your sleeping problem.” I did not want to upset her, so I took the book home. Out of curiosity I opened the book and began to read. I couldn't put the book down and completely forgot about the sleeping pills.
As my husband was not at home, I stayed up and read the book until the following morning. I was not tired at all, and at 8:00 a.m. I went out to look for the woman who gave me the book. I walked around my neighborhood twice and finally saw her. I told her that I wanted to practice Falun Gong. From that day on I vowed to follow Master in cultivation practice.
My husband later divorced me because I could not give him a baby, so I utilized all my time for Dafa work. Every day I studied and memorized the Fa, and distributed Dafa materials.
I met my present husband, also a practitioner, in 2003. We married a year later, and in 2005 our daughter was born. I now have a happy family of three. Whenever I have problems, we exchange experiences and encourage each other. I am really happy with my life now and know that I would not have been alive if Master had not saved me.
