(Clearwisdom.net) I began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. We lost our regular practice environment when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong in 1999. To appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong, I went to Beijing twice with my wife and child. The second time we were in Beijing, the police arrested us and took us to a detention center. In 2001 the CCP stepped up the persecution. As a result, six local practitioners were sentenced to prison and forced labor camp(s), and two others decided to leave their homes to avoid arrest.
The loss in our area was a huge blow; local practitioners could not act as a group. The evildoers shifted their focus to me and frequently harassed me and pressured me to stop practicing Dafa. To counter their evil intentions, I began to distribute printed materials as a one-person team. Although alone, I knew Master was protecting me all the time. My wife sent righteous thoughts whenever I left home to fetch materials from the city. Using our only bicycle, I traveled 80 km every week. To avoid attracting attention, I often used country roads through farm lands. When I returned with a heavy load of papers, the bike ride was very tiring.
After Master published “Rationality” and “Dafa is Indestructible,” practitioners gradually stepped forward to validate the Fa. Every household in our area has received Dafa materials. After people learned the truth, they became supportive of Dafa and practitioners. The practice environment became relaxed and open.
For more than a decade I have tried my best to work with other practitioners. When others miss something, I try to make it up. I know this is what Master wants. When practitioners need my help, I always put aside my own work at home and go help them promptly.
Establishing Home Based Material Sites
In 2004, with the help of other practitioners, I set up a material production site in my home. Six months later I helped others establish four more such sites. These additional sites freed me up for more coordination work.
By 2008, only one "block" in our area had no material production site. After discussing it, we practitioners concluded that a new site was needed. We approached an elderly practitioner. She had endured five years of severe persecution but was willing to continue working on Dafa-related work. She quickly learned the necessary techniques and began to operate the site. After one year of operating steadily, there was an incident. Due to her lack of cultivation, the evildoers took advantage of her loophole. Her husband (a non-practitioner) forced her to move the printer. Later, the police ransacked her home and took her away. She was too scared to continue running the site.
When I saw her last year I said, “We should complete our assignment and treat everything with righteous thoughts.” She said, “My xinxing is low, and my family gives me a lot of pressure.” “As long as you have the will, Master will help you to realize it,” I told her. Three days later she bought a computer and was ready to resume printing jobs. Another coordinator practitioner had concerns about her situation and raised an objection to letting her do this.
I then studied the Fa and decided to do the right thing to help fellow practitioners. Other practitioners needed this new material site to rescue people. We should do what Master expects us to do and not let human notions stop us. As long as she learned her lesson and put faith in Master and Dafa, Master would protect her. We finally agreed to support her effort. Now this practitioner is steadfastly improving, and her material production site operates smoothly.
