(Clearwisdom.net) Editor's note: Over the course of the 12-year persecution of Falun Dafa in China, the Chinese Communist Party has deceived many people with its lies and slander, causing them to have misunderstandings about and turning them against Falun Dafa. In this environment of persecution, it is a major breakthrough for a person in China to understand the true situation and openly declare his or her belief in the goodness of Dafa. Many people have received good returns upon siding with goodness and coming to recognize the evil nature of the communist regime. The following are two such stories.
Cured of Advanced Breast Cancer
A 78-year old woman in Tongliao was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago. Because she was elderly and the cancer was at an advanced stage, the doctors told her relatives that they could only provide treatments that would keep her living for a while longer. She lost hope of being cured and was in constant pain. She soon progressed to the stage where she could only drink rice soup with just a few grains of rice.
Fortunately for her, one of her relatives practiced Falun Gong and told her that a miracle might happen if she believed in Dafa and said to herself, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She gave it a try. After continuously reciting these words to herself for a month, she regained her strength and started eating. She decided to learn Falun Gong. Her relative gave her the book Zhuan Falun and taught her the five sets of exercises. Now, this lady can eat normally again, and more miraculously, her hair has started to turn from gray to black again. These unexpected changes reinforced her belief that Falun Dafa is truly a righteous Fa. It has been a year since she was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. She is now healthy and lives a normal life.
Dafa Gave Her New Life
Ms. Mingyu (pseudonym), in her forties, lives in a small suburban town in Tongliao. She suffered from many illnesses, including pharyngitis, enteritis, and gastritis. Due to taking medicines for a long period of time, her stomach lining was ruined. Hospital treatments couldn't help her. She couldn’t eat and weighed only 90 pounds. Her face was dark and her body was disfigured. Whoever saw her thought that her days were limited.
The time came when Mingyu couldn’t even drink milk. She couldn’t take the suffering any longer and planned to commit suicide. Before ending her life, she went to her parents’ home to say goodbye. Her younger sister, a Falun Gong practitioner, was there. The practitioner sister suggested that she not kill herself. She told her that her husband had been quite ill a little while ago. He was bedridden and unable to move. After all his options were exhausted, he listened to her advice and recited, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He planned to say these words one hundred times to see if it was effective. After just over twenty times, he could get up and walk!
The practitioner asked Mingyu to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and to truly believe it in her heart. Half-believing and half-doubting, Mingyu started reciting these words. Shortly after, she could eat. She soon regained her strength and could work in the fields again. She also gained weight. She now fully believes that Falun Gong can truly save people! She has started studying Zhuan Falun, and however busy the farm work is, she reads one lecture daily. Mingyu regrets that she didn’t listen to her sister earlier. She told her husband, “From now on, I am saying goodbye to medicines. Don’t say you spend all money on treating me any long. I not only don’t need money for medicine, but I can also work in the field.”
Their neighbors couldn't understand how Mingyu, who was dying, could recover so quickly. Mingyu told them that it was because she believed in Falun Gong and was benefited by sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” daily. She started to actively clarify the truth and share her experiences, so that people could realize that Falun Dafa truly saves people.
