Entrust Everything to Our Master

(Clearwisdom.net) After reading many great articles written by mainland Chinese practitioners during the Eighth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China, I was inspired to share some of my recent experiences in cultivation.

Many incidents that happened during my cultivation made me realize the utmost importance of having full trust in our Master, as He can do anything and can save us from any difficult situation. Every time I come across such an experience, my confidence and trust in Master is strengthened tremendously. I would like to share some of these experiences here.

Calm in the face of difficulties

I face many challenges at my job. In the past, I used to get tensed up and nervous in the face of these difficulties. But with full trust in our Master, I do two hours of exercises, send righteous thoughts and study the Fa daily. My faith in Dafa always helps me make it through tough situations without any turmoil within myself. Following the principles of being considerate of others helps resolve many issues as well. In every such difficult situation, I knew it was Master who was helping me and protecting me.

Last week, I had a very important task involving a major business transaction for our company. I was not at all perturbed, though my assistant was very worried that we would fail. In spite of the pressure, I kept up my Fa study and righteous thoughts at the global times and also went to do the exercises at 5:30-7:30 every morning. This helped me greatly as I was not at all moved by the tense situation at work. By the last day before the deadline, I got unexpected help from new sources and in the end the result was even better than expected.

I realize that any tough situation can wither away like the passing of clouds, as long as we entrust everything to our Master and do the three things regularly without fail. Besides work and practice, I also spread the Fa in schools and colleges almost daily and distribute flyers at supermarkets and to people on the streets I come across.

Truck driver changes the tire of my vehicle

To introduce Falun Gong in a district jail, I stayed in that city for one week. One day, after finishing my day's activities at the jail, I left to go to my hotel around 10 p.m. Suddenly, I noticed that one of the front tires of my vehicle was flat and I was held up there. I did not know what to do, because the place was new to me and it was night time. All of a sudden, without any action from me, a truck driver pulled up beside me and offered to change my flat tire. Within just a few minutes, he put on a spare tire and left the scene. It was amazing.

Introduction to Indian army officials

I visited some army centers on my own to introduce Falun Gong and also asked my uncle, a retired army general, to help me. But since he was busy, he could not. Recently, during a gathering of several families, I happened to meet a person who used to work with the Indian Army and is now running a school/security agency. When I asked him to help me introduce the practice, he took me to the Golconda Army Hospital. He helped me to meet many top officials and I talked to them about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. They promised to make arrangements for me to speak with others in their organization in the near future.

Internet center owner comes to my rescue

I used to spread the practice along with another practitioner, who recently went abroad to stay with his children for six months. As my computer skills are not good, I had relied on him for projects requiring the computer. I was wondering what I would do in his absence.

After his departure, one day I went to an Internet/Xerox shop to print out some sheets with pictures of the exercise movements. The owner, who happened to know about Falun Dafa, took an interest in helping me and gave me a special discount since he thought I was doing a great thing to help others. He also said that I could visit his shop at any time for future projects. I thought to myself that it was a perfect arrangement by our Master, who solved my problem.

I presented the laminated sheets of the exercise postures to the school, where 600 students are doing the exercises daily. The principal put them on the school bulletin board immediately. This helped me to understand that one should have commitment to spread the practice in a righteous way, keeping complete faith and trust in Master.

The only thing that is required of us, according to my understanding, is that we shouldn't stop or change Fa-related projects midway, without completion.

Master said in Zhuan Falun,

"What I want to do can all be done by my fashen, such as adjusting the bodies of true practitioners."

I also understand that I should not only say what should be done, but I must also actually do it. Though this is difficult, I will carry things out until the end from now on without fail.

Paying my karmic debts

I park my vehicle in an open area as we don't have any parking place at our residence. One morning, I noticed that the side mirror of my vehicle was broken. Later the same day, I found some boys were playing cricket in the open area. I casually asked one boy who was responsible for breaking the side mirror of my vehicle. Then, another boy slowly walked towards me and said, "Sorry, sir, I am the one who broke it,” and he promised to pay me for it. I was moved by his sincerity and asked him if he did it intentionally. He replied that while he was playing cricket with others, the ball accidentally hit the side mirror, breaking it.

I recalled immediately what our Master said in Zhuan Falun:

"Nowadays, human moral values have been distorted. The driver indeed drove the car too fast, but how could he possibly hit someone on purpose? Didn't he do it unintentionally? But people are like this today. If he were not exploited, even the bystanders would find it unfair. I have said that now people can not distinguish good from bad. If one tells another person that he is doing something wrong, he will not believe it. Because human moral values have changed, some people seek nothing but self interest and will do anything for money. 'If a person is not after self-interest, heaven and earth will kill him'—this has already become a motto!"

I told him that he didn't need to pay for it, as it was an accident. He was surprised and asked me why I didn't make him pay for it. I told him that I follow the principles of Falun Dafa. Later I found out that it would cost me a lot of money to have it fixed. I did not get upset and thought that I must be clearing a karmic debt I owed to this young man. In similar cases before starting my cultivation in Falun Dafa, I collected money when someone damaged my property. I realize now that this was wrong of me. Thanks to our Master for enlightening me on this.

My visit to China

Due to my great admiration for Master and Dafa, I had a wish to visit China and touch the soil of the birthplace of our great Master. I shared this feeling with other local practitioners. Unexpectedly, I got an opportunity to visit China to attend an exhibition for one week. But after landing in China, I somehow forgot my wish to touch the soil. On the last day of my stay, an unbelievable thing happened. As I was walking on the street, suddenly a friend of mine accidentally tripped me. I fell flat on the ground, which resulted in me touching the soil. After getting up, I quickly realized that it was Master who helped me fulfill my wish; otherwise, I might have missed the chance. This reminded me that I should have full faith in Master.

Great honor

It is a great honor to be a practitioner of Falun Dafa. Because of my efforts to spread the practice, I am welcomed in schools, central and state government departments, etc. The honor of spreading this practice is a divine gift given by our great Master, and I will cherish it always. Every time, when I come across any unpleasant incidents or problems, I look within and consider others first, which helps me improve from within and present things in a peaceful way to others.

Master said,

"Yet when we run into problems, we often look outwards—'Why are you treating me like that?'—and feel that we've been treated unfairly, instead of examining ourselves. That's the greatest and most fatal obstacle for all living beings." ("Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Singapore")

I feel as if something is missing if I miss daily exercises or Fa study or even distributing flyers.

If anything inappropriate is found in my sharing, I will be thankful if it is pointed out for my further improvement.
