(Minghui.org) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 1 practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.

4. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Ruoxiu and Ms. Xiao Hu Detained
5. [Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained
6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners including Ms. Ren Mailian Arrested
7. [Panshi City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Wenyan Arrested
8. [Tianjin] Additional Ms. Liu Baolin Detained
9. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qiu Yanping Detained
1. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Ranli Arrested
Ms. Yang Ranli from Shenzhou City was illegally arrested on October 20, 2012. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yan Jinxia Detained
Ms. Yan Jinxia was arrested by officers from the Nangang District Postal Office Police Station while she was distributing truth-clarification materials on the afternoon of November 14. She is being held at Harbin City Detention Center.
3. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Chengjun Arrested
Ms. Zhang Chengjun, a retired physician with the Dalian No.3 Hospital, was at home on the afternoon of November 1. Nine perpetrators broke into her house and looted four printers, one copier, a computer, a walkman, 17,000 yuan in cash, and Dafa books. Ms. Zhang has since returned home.
4. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Ruoxiu and Ms. Xiao Hu Detained
Ms. Huang Ruoxiu and Ms. Xiao Hu were arrested and taken to Shifang City Detention Center by Majing Town Police Station officers on November 12. The women had been clarifying the facts about Dafa in Majing Town.
5. [Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained
Mr. Zhang Lei from Xiaowufuma Village was arrested on the evening of November 16 by Damin Police Station officers. The next day, police arrested four more practitioners, including Ms. Huang Li, Ma, Jia, and Meng, who are now in the city detention center.
6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners including Ms. Ren Mailian Arrested
Ms. Ren Mailian was arrested on October 29 and is now in Zhangjiakou Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Zheng Xiaohong, Mr. Chen Deyong, and his wife were arrested on November 2. Mr. He Huajun from Zhangjiakou was also arrested.
7. [Panshi City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Wenyan Arrested
Several officials, including the heads of the Dongning Police Station, Domestic Security Division, and Residential Committee, went to the home of Ms. Yu Wenyan's mother on the morning of October 10. Her mother is a teacher at Huadian City Elementary School. They took Dafa books, brochures, and Shen Yun CDs. They handcuffed Ms. Yu and arrested her. She was held in Jilin Detention Center for 15 days. They did not release her until she was tortured so severely that she suffered a stroke.
8. [Tianjin] Additional Ms. Liu Baolin Detained
Ms. Liu Baolin from the Dongli District was arrested by the Tianjin City 610 Office and Dongli District Police Department on October 30. She is now in Dongli Detention Center.
9. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qiu Yanping Detained
Ms. Qiu Yanping was arrested on the evening of November 18 for distributing truth-clarification materials. She is currently detained in Jingxi Police Station.
