(Minghui.org) The annual Singapore Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held on December 25, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A total of 23 practitioners shared their cultivation experiences on stage.

A Singapore practitioner shares her cultivation experience

Ms. Dong, a coordinator of a phone-calling team, shared how her group helps to motivate others to clarify the truth by making phone calls to China. As a result, many fellow practitioners have stepped forward to join the phone-calling team, thereby helping to save sentient beings and eliminating the evil.

It was Celina's first time presenting an experience-sharing report on stage. She delivered her speech in Chinese, although she was brought up in an English-speaking household. With the help of her fellow practitioners, she can now read Zhuan Falun and other Fa-teachings, in Chinese. She said, “I am fortunate to be a Dafa practitioner, otherwise it would be hard to know the profoundness of the Chinese culture, the same culture that the Chinese Communist Party wants to destroy. Actually, I almost became a victim, myself.”

Two practitioners from Vietnam shared experience-sharing papers. Mr. Hanh recalled reading Zhuan Falun for the first time. “I felt that my divine side had woken up. I was in tears when I realized how precious this book really is.” The other practitioner, Lena, shared how she got rid of her deep-seated resentment and helped her sister begin cultivation.

An elderly practitioner, Ms. Tang, said that out of 16 family members, she is the only Dafa practitioner. She talked about how she takes care of her grandson and prepares food for the entire family. After arranging everything at home, which isn't easy, she goes out to clarify the truth. She realizes that the path of cultivation is hard, but she needs to go through it.

Mr. Li, a member of the Divine Land Marching Band shared his experience of traveling with the band to spread Dafa in Hyderabad, India. While performing in India, audience members expressed their appreciation for the band by tossing fresh flowers in front of the band. Under the direction and prompting of one practitioner, everyone shouted, “Falun Dafa is great! The world needs Truth-Compassion-Forbearance!”

Ms. Chen shared how she elevated her xinxing by rewriting her conference article over and over again. She got rid of her attachment of being overly concerned about this and that trivial matter. She also said that, “Other practitioners' sharing are very real. Only by genuinely cultivating ourselves can one speak from their own experience. Everyone’s sharing is on the Fa and all of them had righteous thoughts.”

Several practitioners from the audience commented on how the new practitioners who shared papers diligently cultivated themselves and had a deep understanding of the Fa. Within a short time, these new practitioners made great strides in doing the three things well—overcoming many obstacles to save people. Ms. Dai said she discovered some of her fundamental attachments at the conference. “I was touched by the sharings. I found that I have many shortcomings and learned a lot. As for saving people, I will learn whatever I need to learn to do a good job.”

Ms. Huang said, “During this conference, I found many of my shortcomings. I am deeply touched. Each speech impressed me. I will do as much as I can to save sentient beings.”

Ms. Dong shared her thoughts after attending the conference. “The speeches are high quality and very comprehensive. More practitioners are coming out to save people; advancing diligently in their cultivation, and looking inward to improve themselves. This year's conference has left a deep impression on me. Sharing experiences from the heart can indeed move people.”
