Additional Persecution News from China – November 26, 2012 (22 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 14 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Panjin, Liaoning Province] Three Women Practitioners Detained

Ms. Chen Weizhen, Ms. Liang Qing and Ms. Chen Zhongju, all from Liaohe Oil Field, were taken away by police in the Xinxing Region on November 23, 2012. It was recently learned that all three women are being held at Xinglongtai Third Detention Center.

2. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Ye and Ms. Zhao Remain in Custody

Mr. Xu Ye and Ms. Zhao, both originally from Gaojiajie Village, Chengguan Township, Yi County, worked temporarily in Shenyang City. They were arrested on October 25, 2012, while distributing truth-clarification materials in Sujiatun District, Shenyang. Both practitioners were sent to Linhu Detention Center, where they remain incarcerated.

3. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Ms. Mao Aijuan and Her Husband Each Sentenced to Seven and a Half Years

Ms. Mao Aijuan and her husband have been kept at Weifang Detention Center since November 2011, and they were recently each sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.

4. [Nanchang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wu Jingjun Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor

Ms. Wu is now incarcerated at Jiangxi Province Women’s Forced Labor Camp after being illegally sentenced.

5. [Baicheng, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Wenhui Illegally Arrested

Mr. Li Wenui was illegally arrested at home on the night of November 3, 2012 by the Baicheng police.

6. [Pengzhou, Sichuan Province] Ms. Meng Liangfeng and Ms. Zeng Qingfang Detained

While talking to an elementary school student about Falun Gong at a fair in Sanjie Town on November 24, 2012, Ms. Meng and Ms. Zeng, both from Mengyang Town, were arrested by police. That same afternoon, agents from the Mengyang Town 610 Office and police station, as well as Zhuang Daojing from the street committee, ransacked Ms. Meng’s home. Both practitioners were later sent to Pengzhou City Detention Center.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Yuelian Illegally Arrested

Ms. Xu Yuelian is a retired employee in her 40s from the Beijing Oil Pump Factory, and she lives in No. 4 Compound of Huaishuling Area, Changxindian, Fengtai District. She was arrested by police shortly before the CCP's 18th Congress. Prior to this arrest, she was imprisoned at Beijing Women’s Forced Labor Camp for two years.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Fenglan Illegally Detained

On the afternoon of November 13, 2012, Ms. Zhang, originally from Heilongjiang Province, was arrested by agents from Haidian District Huayuan Police Station in Beijing. She was later transferred to Haidian District Police Department to be detained.

9. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Limei Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

10. [Yushu, Jilin Province] Three Women Practitioners Sent to Changchun Brainwashing Center

Ms. Xu Yaxuan, Ms. Zhang Chunru, and Ms. Yu Shuqing were sent to Changchun Brainwashing Center by the local 610 Office about ten day ago.

11. [Danyang, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Xie Shenqing to Face Trial on November 29, 2012

12. [Nanchang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xie Chunmei Unable to Return Home

Ms. Xie Chunmei, 48, an English teacher at Nanchang No. 20 High School, was at work on October 22, 2012 when she got word that 610 Office agents were on their way to arrest her. She managed to escape safely. The 610 Office and Domestic Security Division officers changed the lock to her residence, and stationed plainclothes agents and more than a dozen police vehicles outside her house for three days. As a result, Ms. Xie couldn’t return home or resume teaching.

13. [Qingzhou, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Xiufeng Sentenced to Seven Years

Ms. Guo Xiufeng was arrested by agents from the Qingzhou Domestic Security Division in April this year and illegally sentenced to seven years by Qingzhou Court in October. She is now serving the illegal term at Jinan Women’s Prison.

14. [Panzhihua, Sichuan Province] Two Women Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Aibi (around 60) and Ms. Liu Mingxian (around 70) were clarifying the facts on the morning of November 22 this year when they were arrested by agents from the Dadukou Police Station. They are now being held at Panzhihua Detention Center.

15. [Shanghai] Mr. Bao Decong Illegally Arrested and His Home Ransacked

On the night of October 30, 2012, Changning District police ransacked Mr. Bao’s home and took away Dafa materials, a printer and some cash. After they finished ransacking his home, they took him away.

16. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Guiqi Illegally Arrested and His Home Ransacked

Around November 21, 2012, policemen ransacked Mr. Wang’s home in the Daliangzi Region of Tanggu. They took away about 10,000 yuan in cash. Both he and his wife were sent to forced labor camps.

17. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Chixiu Illegally Detained

Ms. Liu is a 61-year-old retired employee of Shandong Province Rural Business Bureau. While talking to people about Falun Gong on the night of November 22 this year, she was arrested by agents from Qianfoshan Police Station. Her family believes that she may be held at Liuchangshan Detention Center in Jinan.

18. [Gujiao, Shanxi Province] Four Practitioners Illegally Detained

On the afternoon of November 21, 2012, Ms. Jiang Li, Ms. Zhang Bianying, Mr. Gong Guoqin and Ms. Li Zhong’e went to the countryside to clarify the facts when they were arrested by local Domestic Security Office head Xing Mingliang and his subordinates. The three women practitioners are now being held at Taiyuan City Detention Center, while Mr. Gong is at Gujiao City Detention Center.

19. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Yuefen Illegally Arrested

Ms. Yuefen was arrested by Huzhen Police Station officers on November 22, 2012.

20. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Fubin Kept in Solitary Confinement at Tailai Prison

On the afternoon of November 20, 2012, Mr. Liu practiced the Falun Gong exercises at the No. 14 Division workshop of Tailai Prison. To punish him, Song Hongwei, prison investigation section deputy chief, sent him to a solitary confinement cell.

While Mr. Liu is serving a 10-year term, his wife is serving a two-year term of forced labor at Heilongjiang Province Women’s Drug Rehabilitation Center.

21. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Yang Jie Detained

Ms. Yang Jie is being held in Room 4, Division 8 of Hangzhou City Detention Center.

22. [Xiangyang, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Changzhen Interrogated

On the afternoon of November 8 this year, agents from the Xiangcheng District suddenly broke into the home of 74-year-old retired teacher Ms. Liu Changzhen when she was home alone. Two policemen held her down on the couch while the other four searched every corner of her home. They confiscated computers and printers belonging to her son and daughter-in-law, as well as her bus card and cell phone. They took her to Tanxi Police Station, where they tried to get her to reveal the contact information of other practitioners. She firmly refused and was released around midnight.
