(Clearwisdom.net) Police officers from the Rushan City Domestic Security Division climbed over a garden wall and entered practitioner Yu Yingzuo’s home in Daguan Village, Rushan Town the afternoon of February 13, 2012. Without displaying their ID, they ransacked the house and walked away with a computer and a printer. They took Mr. Yu with them and placed him in detention. The next day, the police came back and towed away his minivan.

The following day, Mr. Yu’s daughter, who works in Weihai City, received a call from the police. She was told to come to her father’s house. When she arrived, she was surprised to find that the house had been ransacked. Officers Liu Hao and Song Xiangjun ordered her to sign her father’s arrest warrant and the list of seized items, but they had not signed these papers. When she asked when her father would be released, they told her, “The case is being handled by legal procedure.”

The morning of February 15, Yu Yingzuo’s daughter went to the detention center to see her father. She was told to go away and check with the police department. The police department refused to admit her.

Mr. Yu's daughter returned again to the police department on February 16, but once more the entrance security guard stopped her. She protested, “My dad practices Falun Gong and is a good person. He never violated any law. Why did you arrest him?” An officer brought her upstairs to the second floor. She cried and asked for her father's release. Feeling extremely sad and helpless, she was shivering violently. At that point, an officer phoned the Domestic Security Division and then demanded that she sign a waiver, stating that she could not hold the police responsible if anything happened to her. No one from the Domestic Security Division came. The officer told her to come back in the afternoon.

Mr. Yu Yingzuo has been arrested several times. He was sent to a labor camp for three years in 2002, where he suffered numerous tortures. He was deprived of sleep, forced to sit on a small stool for extended hours, beaten and forced to perform hard labor. His wife died while he was in the labor camp in 2005. His daughter was in school at the time.

Mr. Yu received countless benefits from the practice of Falun Gong. All of his illnesses vanished. He likes to tell people about the merit of Falun Gong. He often told his neighbors, “I truly hope you all have a bright future and stay out of harm’s way should there be accidents and natural disasters.” But sadly, such a good man has been repeatedly persecuted.
