Ms. Wang Min's Term to End Soon; Wujiaqu Women's Forced Labor Camp Escalates Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Min will finish her forced labor term in about a month. It is alleged that the guards of the Wujiaqu Women's Forced Labor Camp in Xinjiang have escalated the persecution.

Ms. Wang, about 45, is an employee of the 149th Division in Shihezi City, Xinjiang. At the end of 2010, she was arrested and taken to the Wujiaqu Forced Labor Camp to serve a 15-month forced labor term.

As she refused to renounce Falun Gong, the guards tortured her with various means. They forced her to stand for long periods of time, ordered the inmates to beat her, forced her to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong, and extended her term. They also instigated her family to put additional pressure on her. They gave her half a bun for each meal, and nothing else.

The Wujiaqu Women's Forced Labor Camp was established in 1996. All the guards are young women and were taught in the Chinese Communist Party's education system. Many of them abuse practitioners without mercy. Guard Wang Wei is one of them. She often verbally abuses practitioners with vicious words and has ordered drug-addicted inmates to torture the practitioners. Guard Zhang Yanyan stripped off one practitioner's clothes and forced her to stand naked in the cold for three hours. After that incident was exposed, the forced labor camp received a lot of phone calls and truth clarification letters from overseas. The camp authorities were afraid and transferred Zhang to the Patrol Division.
