(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Xiangxing is the owner of a home appliance store in the administrative department of the No. 10 Farm in Tanghai County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

After 6:00 a.m. on February 25, 2012, a group of officers from the Tanghai County Domestic Security Division, led by chief Li Fuguo, came to Mr. Zheng's store. Two female officers asked Mr. Zheng to open the door. They lied and said that they wanted to have their electric bike repaired. When the door was opened, the other officers entered the store and arrested Mr. Zheng. The officers ransacked his store; all the items they confiscated filled two trucks.

Mr. Zheng was taken to the Tanghai County Hospital for a physical exam. He tried to escape, but was run after and caught by the officers and taken back.

The police attempted to arrest Mr. Zheng's wife but she was taking care of her mother at her parents' house at the time. Mr. Zheng is being held at the Tanghai County Detention Center. His wife cannot go back home for fear of arrest. Their son is at home alone, waiting for his parents' return.

It was alleged that a person named Li Chunmeng was involved in Mr. Zheng's arrest. Li has been monitoring Falun Gong practitioners who live at the No.10 Farm. The Tanghai County Domestic Security Division pays him wages and it was Li's blue truck that the police used to take away the confiscated items from Mr. Zheng's store.

Mr. Zheng, in his 40's, had a bad temper prior to practicing Falun Gong. He started practicing Falun Gong between 2002 and 2003. His temperament changed for the better and he is now kind and considerate. His wife started practicing Falun Gong in 1999. She solved her personal conflicts with her mother-in-law and became the most filial one amongst all the sons, daughters, and in-laws.
