(Clearwisdom.net) The Pingdu City, Shandong Province 610 Office and local police stations have recently been colluding in their efforts to harass Falun Gong practitioners and ransack their homes.

On the morning of February 8, 2012, officers from the Zhugou Police Station arrested Mr. Li Dewei from Tixia Village, Laixi City, at the market in Shantou Village. That same afternoon, they broke into Ms. Guo Xiuhua's home in Shantou Village. They confiscated a TV, two printers, one DVD burner, three laptop computers, three cellphones, and Dafa books.

At around 9:00 a.m. on February 15, 2012, the officials from the Pingdu 610 Office and officers from the Rentao Town Police Station went to Mr. Sun Kuixun's home in Sunjiahui Village. Mr. Sun was not home, so they left. They then went to Mr. Zhao Minghua's home in Guan Village and ransacked the place. A few neighbors were visiting Mr. Zhao's home at the time, but the police did not allow them to leave. When Mr. Zhao's wife argued with them, they slapped her, which caused her mouth to bleed. The police confiscated Dafa books and his daughter's computer. The house was left in a mess. The next day, Mr. Zhao's daughter went to the police station to request the return of the confiscated belongings but the police did not acknowledge that they were in their possession.

Officials from the Pingdu 610 Office and officers from the Wanjia Town Police Station went to Mr. Wan Qinghua's home on February 25, 2012, and harassed him.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, many practitioners have been subjected to persecution. One practitioner died in 2011 while homeless, and nine practitioners were arrested and their homes ransacked. Among them, four practitioners were sentenced to forced labor and two were detained. Many practitioners have been harassed. Ms. Ma Qin, a teacher from Kaifa District, Pingpu, began practicing Falun Gong six years ago. Her illnesses disappeared shortly after beginning the practice. She followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and worked diligently. She was loved by her students and their parents. To avoid being persecuted, she left home and has been gone for one and a half years.
