(Minghui.org) On December 9, 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ren Juling from Laiyang City was illegally arrested by the local police. Xing Jianping, a policewoman at the Rongcheng City Domestic Security Division, led many officers to break into Ms. Ren's home. They split the door open with an axe and confiscated things at will. Later, Ren Juling was sent to a forced labor camp for a year and a half. Her husband, Ren Baoxue, hired a lawyer and sued Xing Jianping and other police officers. Several days later, the court placed the case on file for investigation and prosecution.
On February 1, 2012, the Rongcheng City Court informed Ren Baoxue that the case would be tried at the first session in court on February 10. However, because of interference from the 610 Office, the court postponed the session, stating that the judge was out for the day. Then on the night of February 16, the local police arrested about 30 practitioners from Laiyang City, Rongcheng City, Chengshan Town, and Shidao Town in Shangdong Province. After the large scale arrests, the court announced the cancellation of the case.
No justice when judiciary system is manipulated
Xing Jianping is the deputy head of the Rongcheng City Domestic Security Division. Since 1999, she has actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Over thirty cases directly involving her have been exposed on Minghui.org. Nearly 1,000 practitioners were tortured. Some were tortured to death or sentenced to prison, and dozens were sent to labor camps. Xing Jianping should bear the majority of the responsibility.
Since the case had already been placed on file, why did the police court cancel the case without reason? Xing Jianping and other police officers were merely tools manipulated by the communist regime to arrest additional practitioners.
Suing Xing Jianping and bringing the real criminals to trial would not only expose what they did, but also expose the torture of practitioners, and the 610 Office's role in the persecution. This is what the officials are afraid of, so they took revenge on innocent people and forced the court to cancel the case. However, what they did exposes how they interfere with the independence of the judiciary, and abuse human rights and the law.
