(Minghui.org) The 610 Office and the Police Department of Baiyun District, Guiyang City, joined forces with all the police stations, subordinate 610 Offices, and residential committees in the district, to arrest several practitioners on the evening of April 12, 2012. They confiscated over ten computers and a large amount of money. The following practitioners are still being detained: Mr. Chen Yonggao and his wife, Mr. Chen Yu, Ms. Deng Kaixiu, Ms. Xie Zhongyun, Ms. Wang Tianyun, Mr. Guo Wen, and Mr. Yang Chenggang. Their current whereabouts are unknown. Family members have tried to bring extra changes of clothes to the police department, the detention center, and the brainwashing center, but were told that the practitioners were not there.
Participating in the arrests, were not only officers from the Baiyun District Police Department and all the subordinate police stations, but also SWAT officers in marked cars.
Ms. Deng Kaixiu was arrested by officers from the Babaao Police Station at 8:00 p.m. on April 12. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, Falun Gong informational materials, and cash.
The Guiyang City Police Department, with help from the Baiyun District Police Department, broke into Mr. Chen Yonggao's home at 9:30 p.m. and arrested Mr. Gao and his wife Ms. Huo Dezhen. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, and large amounts of Falun Dafa informational materials. Ms. Huo protested against these illegal actions and demanded to see the search warrant, arrest warrant, and other legal documents. She was sent home six hours later.
The police ransacked the home of Mr. Yang Chenggang and Ms. Guo Yunying at 10:00 p.m. and confiscated a computer, a printer, a DVD burner, and other personal property. Mr. Yang and Ms. Guo were taken away. Ms. Guo was later released.
That same evening, the police ransacked the homes of Mr. Guo Wen, Ms. Chen Ying, Ms. Xie Zhongyun, and Mr. Wang Tianyin, and confiscated computers and other Falun Gong informational materials. All four practitioners were arrested.
At the same time, the police were also arresting practitioners in other districts of Guiyang City, including Yunyan and Nanming Districts. Among them, Mr. Liu Qinghong, Mr. Zhao Peng, and Mr. Shi Denglin are confirmed to have been taken.
Three days later, on April 15, officers from the Baiyun District Police Department and the subordinate police stations ransacked Ms. Yang Hong's home and her store in the Gongjiazai Community, Baiyun District. Ms. Yang was arrested and taken to the Baiyun District Detention Center. The next day, Ms. Wang Su'e and her husband, who are in their seventies, were arrested and their home was ransacked. On the afternoon of April 17, Ms. Yang Hong, Ms. Wang Su'e, and her husband were released.
