After Just One Day of Practicing Falun Gong, Master Purified My Body
On the afternoon of March 31, 1996, I suddenly felt unwell, so I lay down on my bed. When I tried to sit up, I felt very dizzy and remained in bed for what ended up being about three to four months. The doctors at several hospitals could not diagnose my problem, so I could not be put on medication. It was an unknown illness. I took all kinds of traditional Chinese and Western medicines, but to no avail. I looked emaciated and no longer appeared like my former self.
A colleague of my elder sister, Ms. Jiang (a pseudonym), came to see me. She was shocked. She asked my sister, "How did your younger sister get so sick?" My sister told her that we had been to several hospitals, but there was no diagnosis. Ms. Jiang suggested, "How about trying qigong? I heard that practicing qigong could heal illnesses." I asked, "How much does it cost?" Ms. Jiang answered, "It cost my friend about 2,000 yuan to practice XYZ qigong." I said, "No, no. I'm not interested." Anyway, I didn't believe in qigong and it cost money. My sister said, "But what will you do since your illness can't be diagnosed?" I thought for a while and asked, "Is there any qigong that is free of charge?" She answered, "Yeah, there is a kind of qigong that is free of charge. It is called Falun Gong and a lot people are practicing it. They usually practice at Jinjiang Mountain in the mornings."
The next morning, my sister and I went to the practice site, hoping to give it a try. There were many people practicing and we just joined in. Then a short lady came and asked, "Are you here to learn?" I answered, "I am here to treat my illness." The lady laughed and said, "It seems that this is your first time here. We do not treat disease, but the Master purifies your body through your cultivation practice." I responded, "I don’t care, if it can heal me." The lady then said, "You can join in." My sister said, "She can't stand up." The lady said, "Sit and watch." I watched the entire time they practiced.
During the night, I threw up throughout the night. My neighbor saw me and said that I appeared to be at death's door. My sister cried sadly. At midnight, I began to vomit blood and I was scared. I still had a five-year-old child, transportation at that time was not available, and I didn't have enough money to go to the hospital. I only had about 2,000 yuan, and I wasn't sure if I should go to the hospital. An hour later, I stopped throwing up. I fell asleep after I went to bed. After I woke up, I felt very light and quite comfortable. Why was I feeling so different from before? I asked my sister, "Would you take me to the practice site again?" My sister was an impatient person. After hearing what I said, she yelled, "You are going to die! Why do you want to practice?" I answered, "I just threw up, but I don’t feel sick. Please take me there. I will go to the hospital after I come back from withdrawing money from the bank." Reluctantly, my sister took me to the practice site. After arriving, I felt nauseous again. At that time, a taller lady came and asked what happened. My sister told her what had happened to me the night before. By then, the shorter lady who had talked to us the day before had showed up, too. She asked, "Have you ever read Zhuan Falun?" I shook my head. "Have you listened to the lectures?" she asked. "No," I responded. "Have you thrown up before?" she asked. "No," I replied. She said, "It’s the Master purifying your body! You have no longer have any disease. You are so lucky! Master helped you even though you did nothing." The lady asked me to attend the lecture at the Labor Palace the following Monday. I went home not quite sure what to think. I sat on my bed and shook my head. I no longer felt dizzy. I had no problem standing up and walking. My sister was surprised and said, "Are you cured?" By that time, we felt that Dafa was amazing!
After I began practicing Falun Dafa, I wanted my mother to practice, too. She lived in the countryside and was very sick. I took her to attend the lectures. My mother was half in doubt. After she listened to one lecture she turned into a totally different person. After seeing the miracle, about ten people in my family began to practice.
Grateful to Falun Gong for Harmonizing Our Family
Before I began practicing, I was an aggressive person and not tolerant at all. I had four sisters-in-law. We always plotted against and despised each other. My mother’s home was very near to my mother-in-law’s home. At that time, there was a lot of infighting between the two families. My mother-in-law didn’t like me, either. I didn't quarrel with my mother-in-law openly, but my mind was filled with bad thoughts. I often said negative things about her to my husband, which upset him. It was especially a problem during holidays and festivals. The two families argued with each other over trifles and were jealous about benefits or interests. Our relatives scrambled for petty profits, which made it problematic for the entire family. There was no harmony or happiness. As time passed, my mother-in-law got sick because of this. Thus, all twenty of us became like enemies.
After I began practicing Falun Gong however, I started living by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. No matter how hard it was, I helped the entire family in anything possible. I never complained, no matter how tired I was. I no longer argued when there was a problem. I changed a lot in body and mind. Because of that, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law also began practicing.
Practicing Falun Gong brought harmony to my entire family. During last year’s spring festival, my father-in-law, who is a quiet person, said, "We have to thank Falun Gong for the change in our family."
Benefits of Practicing Falun Dafa
Since 1996 when I began to practice Falun Gong, my business, a fruit store, became more prosperous because I lived by the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In the past, when customers asked me if the fruits were sweet or not, I would just say yes without thinking. I thought if I told the truth, how could I sell my fruit? Since I am practicing Falun Gong, I now tell my customers the truth. I make suggestions as to which fruits they should buy, and I sell fruit at the lowest price to customers that are poor. My customers have told others about my good business practices. They all know that I live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Reciting Sincerely "Falun Dafa Is Good," Fatal Tumor Disappeared
One afternoon, a customer came to my store when I was sorting out fruit. She had bought fruit from me for years. However, she disappeared for a while without a reason. I saw her that day and smiled and said "Hey, Aunty! It’s been so long! Don’t you want to see me if I am not your daughter?" She replied, "I am here to say goodbye. If you don’t see me in the future, it's because I died." I was scared and asked, "What’s up? Aren’t you well?" She said, "Look at my face." I looked at her face and noticed an egg-size tumor at the end of her eyebrow. She said, "The doctor told me that this tumor is on the vein. It’s red. I had my second consultation today. The hospital told me that my condition was critical. The doctor said that I would die within minutes if this tumor bursts. My cousins have come home from everywhere to prepare for my funeral. They bought the shroud, too. They are afraid that I will pass away at any time. I haven’t slept for about three to four days because of the pain. The tumor is growing."
Since I was being persecuted at that time and I was still a little afraid, I whispered to her, "Do you trust me? Please repeat, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ after you return home." I repeated the words one more time before she left. I wasn't sure if she would remember. Maybe she was afraid, too.
The following morning when I arrived at the fruit store and was not yet ready to open, I saw her walking towards me hurriedly. She said, “My daughter wants you to write down the words you told me.” I looked at her and found that the tumor on her face had shrunk a little, so I said to her, ”I don’t want to boast, but it appears that your tumor has shrunk a little.” Then she told me what happened after she left the day before.
“I was repeating 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' on the way home yesterday. In the evening, my daughter asked me, 'Mom, aren't you in pain tonight? What are you meditating?' I used to scream at night because of the pain and couldn't sleep. I told her that a young lady had told me that if I keep repeating 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, I would be fine. And right now, I don’t feel a lot of pain.' My daughter said, 'Then we should repeat it together.' So the entire family of more than ten people repeated it together. Then I fell asleep. When I got up this morning, I had no pain and couldn't feel the tumor. My daughter asked me, 'Mom, did you repeat those words?' I said I didn’t know. My daughter said, 'Can you ask the lady to write down the words?' That’s why I have come.”
Three days later, she came to my store again, but I wasn’t there. She just asked for me and then left. I asked my husband, "How is she?" He said he didn’t know. After two days, she came with her daughter. Her daughter hugged me when she saw me and said, "Thank you so much!" I looked at her mother. The tumor had disappeared!
This is another example of the miracles of Falun Dafa. It also helps me practice Falun Dafa more diligently.
