(Minghui.org) On Saturday June 23, 2012, Falun Dafa practitioners held an Information Day event in Basel, the second largest city in Switzerland, to introduce Falun Dafa to residents and tourists and expose the Chinese Communist Party's 13-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
On Saturday June 23 2012, Falun Dafa practitioners held an Information Day in Basel, the second largest city in Switzerland.
On the information booth, banners in German and Chinese could be seen from far away. The banners read, “The Chinese Communist Party Is Not China,” “Dismantle the Chinese Communist Party and Stop the Persecution,” and “Falun Dafa Is Good.” Passersby walked over from across the street to visit the information booth and learn more about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China.
Many people read the display boards. When people who took fliers saw the report of the Chinese Communist Party's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, they immediately returned to the information booth and asked for more information. Some talked to the practitioners for a long time, took more printed materials and expressed their concern over this serious crime.
Among the people who signed their names to support Falun Gong's resistance to the persecution, a Jewish couple were shocked by how the Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted in China. They said that this is a very serious crime. They indicated that the most important thing is that people must set aside the boundaries of religion and unite to stop the persecution, because it is against all humanity.
A young lady said that her job will require her to work in China in the near future. She said it was difficult for her because she was very sad that the Chinese Communist Party has destroyed Chinese culture and its traditions.
A group of Christians read the display boards and were moved after learning the facts. They took some more fliers from the information booth to put on their information shelves so more people could learn the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong.
A gentleman signed his name on the petition form and told this reporter that he is a cousin of Anne Frank. Before the end of World War II, Anne, who was only 15, died in a Nazi concentration camp. Her diary from the concentration camp became famous around the world and has been translated into many languages.
Several Chinese visitors from Mainland China also came over to view the display boards and studied them closely. When the practitioners asked them to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, they immediately agreed to do so.
