(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Huang Xiujuan, who was disabled after being persecuted in a Chinese Communist Party brainwashing center, has passed away. She was taken to the Wenzhou Justice Bureau Brainwashing Center on August 18, 2010 by officers from the 610 Office in Lucheng District, Wenzhou City. Ms. Huang was detained for 13 days and became disabled after being subjected to severe physical and mental abuse. She died in February 2012.

Ms. Huang left behind a daughter, who has a mental illness. Her husband has already passed away.
According to Ms. Huang's account before her death, she had been continually harassed and monitored by the 610 Office in Lucheng District and the Domestic Security Division since her return from the brainwashing center, despite the fact that she was disabled. In late October 2010, Yu Guoren, head of the Lucheng District 610 Office, broke into her home to force her to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong. Ms. Huang later moved into a social welfare home in Lucheng District. Officers from the Domestic Security Division still went to see her and attempted to force her to fill out forms and make statements promising not to practice Falun Gong. Not long after being visited by the police, she had a stroke and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. While she was in the intensive care unit, officers from the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division did not let up in monitoring Ms. Huang. They even threatened her family, ordering them not to contact other Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Huang had an outgoing nature and always considered others first. She was in perfect health before she was taken to the brainwashing center. People were shocked to see her disabled and in a wheelchair. Those who know the truth of Falun Gong have expressed their indignation over the injustice done to Ms Huang.
