(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 16 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Zhang Qiupeng, 59 years old, lives in the Zhangdian District, Zibo. She was taken to the Jiazhuang Police Station in the Zhangdian District by plainclothes police when she went out to clarify the truth about Falun Gong on the afternoon of June 13, 2012. Ms. Zhang was transferred to the Fujia Detention Center in Zhangdian District on June 14, 2012.
3. [Tancheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Yujun and Ms. Sun Siye Arrested
Officers from the Dongguan Police Station and the Politics Security Section of the Tangcheng Police Department broke into Mr. Du Yujun's home on May 8, 2012. They took a DVD player, TV, computer, etc. Mr. Du and his wife were also arrested. His wife was released later, but Mr. Du is still in the Tancheng Detention Center.

4. [Gucheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yuping and Ms. Sun Xiuzhen Taken to the Shandong Forced Labor Camp

8. [Heze, Shandong Province] Ms. Zheng Wenxia Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Ms. Zheng Wenxia was sentenced to four years in prison by the Mudan District Court in Heze in the middle of June 2012. She is now in the Shandong Women's Prison.

Ms. Fu Guizhen was arrested by the local police when she went to Hospital 266 in Chengde to deliver medicine to her father-in-law on June 7, 2012. Her home was also ransacked. She is being held in the Shuangfengsi Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Jing is a college student. She went to Guangzhou to rescue her mother, Ms. Liu Mulan, who was detained in Guangzhou. She was arrested by the Guangdong police on April 27, 2012. Recently, she was scheduled to be sent to the Chatou Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term.

Four female Falun Gong practitioners were sent to the Yangma Women's Prison in Jianyang, Sichuan Province, in late April 2012. Another male Falun Gong practitioner was sent to a prison in Mianyang, Sichuan Province.
Ms. Tao Dafeng, 64, is a former budget section chief with the Tongchuan District Finance Bureau. She was sentenced to ten years in prison.
Ms. Xia Bi, 57, is retired from the Tongchuan Beer Factory. She was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Ms. Li Junru, 47, is retired from the Tianli Weaving Mill. She was sentenced to five years in prison.
Ms. Guo Defen, 64, is retired from the Fuwei Candy Factory. She was sentenced to three years in prison.
Mr. Ran Wenxue, 62, is retired from the Dazhou Candy and Liquor Company. He was sentenced to five years in prison.
18. [Beijing] Ms. Zheng Meiying Taken to the Haidian District Detention Center
Ms. Zheng Meiying, 43, lives in Ertaizi Village, Gujiayao Township, Huailai County, Hebei Province. She was apprehended by officers from the Dongsheng Police Station in the Haidian District on the night of May 30, 2012. She is being held in the Haidian Detention Center.
